"Dear Alpha Adrian, I hope this email arrives at a good time, my name is Annalise and I am the Red wolf, graced into existence by the Red Moon Goddess. As you are more than likely aware, the warlock Balthazar is promising to share me as though I am some sort of prize. This can not be allowed to happen. "Someone is here." Far ahead, there was a rustle in the underbrush, and a female figure cloaked in darkness emerged. She stood tall with her head held high. Her red hair was thick and wavy, swinging behind her. She wore a long black robe that reached below her knees, and a small red ribbon adorned the edge of her long sleeves. And she carried a small dagger in her hand. My breath hitched as I alerted my packmates. We shifted into our sleek wolf forms. My black fur rippled across my body, and our paws pounded against the ground as we raced toward the cursed figure.

Soon it would be dark, and Red did not know that she was being shadowed. The monster had been following her scent for miles, and now its luminous yellow eyes spied the girl in the gathering gloom. Her red hood bobbed along in the undergrowth as she worked her way toward the cottage in the distant clearing, and the creature knew it could have her long before she made the safety of the shelter.

A very strange dream! At first, she did not remember the details of that dream clearly. All she could recall was a man hugging a young girl beneath a large cherry blossom tree. The scene resembled a painting. In fact, it was almost like an illusion. So beautiful to behold but also so heart-wrenching to look at. You know. The beautiful "illusion" actually represents a wound. A tragedy... Capable of shattering one's soul and body upon witnessing. That was all she could remember.

Jangling can be heard as she maneuvers it and then reveals a harness that she had been wearing, full of a multitude of weaponry that is both impressive and scary. As she puts it down, a glint flashes in my direction and the shine is so bright, it can only mean one thing, her blades are made of silver. Silas allows his nails to elongate into claws, and crouches down ready to attack, Red simply stares back at him, still wearing her cloak. "You may remove your cloak if you wish, Red." "Thank you, Alpha Hades, but I prefer to keep it on. My identity must remain unknown, and I hope that you will respect that."

Tilting her head and forming the satisfying sinister smile, she pierces her blade towards his gut as she craves his death with the pool of blood she is bathing right now. “Now, now, now, I am the Red Riding Hood.” Counting her victory as his breath finally faded from all along with muffled scream she cruelly sealed with her ice, she smiles as her revenge is complete. Turning her back and letting the devil’s flame engulf everything, the same name of the fantasy Gods and Goddesses rings back towards her mind and where her successful vengeance took place. “Tsk!” Smirking as a void form in front of her and escorting her out and back. She cried but it was only brief for the pain shortly numbed. “Rise woman, ” spoke the hooded man with a gentle, lulling voice. The woman blinked many times, although weakly. She almost thought she was in heaven for the man’s eyes looking down at her were as ethereal as the moon shining above his head. She couldn’t see his face clearly for the hood prohibited it, but she can see the long straight locks of red cascading down his shoulder. It complimented the scarlet robe he was wearing. If not for the coldness of the soil and the smell of metallic blood in the air, she would have really believed she was in heaven.

“I heard they tortured him. His own father! Poor thing, bet it’s hard to live up to the old man’s legacy.” They all laughed. I clenched my teeth so tight my jaw ached. I didn’t care what they said. It was all just noise. And then, just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, I saw a commotion of splitting bodies, some cooes and whips of someone or thing approaching. I hopped onto a box to see over the crowd and my eyes narrowed. She appeared like a flame in the distance—a burst of color and movement that could not be ignored. A woman, tall and confident, her flaming red hair cascading down her back like a living fire.

She buried her face into his broad chest and began to sob loudly. Aian fought down a smile at the look of utter bewilderment tinged with panic on the bodyguard’s face. “It’s okay, she’s not upset.” Dale gaped at him as the woman continued to sob against his chest. “Well, more like happy? She’s just been looking for you for a long time is all. She is the owner and editor of a twin flame magazine called Fate. I freelance for a lot of their photos.” Understanding flashed across Dale’s face and he carefully gathered her up in his arms to hold her tightly.
