As a reader, we can fall in love with a Fictional Character. The words that the author use to define the physical attribute makes us readers fall in love with that character. Same as Amira Madrigal, who's deeply in love with a fictional character named Zeke Alejandro from a book that she always read, the title "Unexpected Love Story". Zeke is a bad boy and an arrogant campus prince who's written to fell in love with Krisha Fajardo, the female lead character of the story. Unfortunately, Amira hasn't read the book completely because her professor caught her reading the book while his teaching. An unknown sender gives her a link to a site where she could continue to read the next part of the story. She doesn't know that this will be the way for her to enter another world. Another dimension. To meet her Love. Zeke Alejandro, the fictional character inside the book. Could she also be the main character of the story she accidentally went into? Or would be the antagonist to the main character that she always imagined to be her? How will the story run?? How will the story end??

If we psychologically damage an individual beyond repair, what will be the consequence of it? We all have a limit to the amount of mental and psychological stress we can take. The novel is mainly about the forgotten British poet/writer named C. J Richards who lived in Burma/Myanmar in colonial times and he believed himself as a Burmophile. He served as I.C.S (Indian Civil Servant) and when he retired from I.C.S service, he was a D.C (District Commissioner) and he left for England a year before Burma gained its independence in 1948. He came to Burma in 1920 to work in civil service after passing the hardest I.C.S examination. He wrote several books on Burma and contributed many monthly articles to Guardian Magazine published in Burma from 1953 to 1974 or 1975. Though he wrote several books which had much literary merit to both communities, Britain and Burma (Myanmar), people failed to recognize him. The story has two parts: one part is set in the contemporary Yangon (then called Rangoon) in 2016 context and a young literary enthusiast named “Lin” found out unexpectedly the forgotten writer’s poetry book and there is surely a good deal of time gap that led him into a quest to know more about the author’s life. The setting is quite different comparing to colonial Burma and independence Myanmar (Burma), early twentieth century and 2016 which is a transitional period in Myanmar. The writer’s life is fictionalized in the novel and most of the facts are taken from his personal stories and other reference books. It is a kind of historical novel with a twist and it has comparatively constructed the two different periods in Myanmar history to convince readers, locally and abroad more about history, authorship, humanity, colonialism, and transitional development in Myanmar today.

He was someone who made his way putting marks, with his name in history. Everyone, except Celezia Alcantara. A girl who was born in the future, and was never fond of history. For her, history is just a simple bedtime story that lullaby her to sleep, when discussions started. She always sleeps in class until their teacher was changed, and a mysterious teacher came so suddenly. He was able to attract every student's attention through his class discussions. Even Zia who loves sleeping at history classes... What makes it more mysterious is when Zia keeps on dreaming about the guy who wears clothing from those of the royalties, and the mysterious well who brought her in the time of Achilles... Could Zia's view about Achilles change, as she spends more time with the King? Would Achilles' way of ruling change, as time goes by having Zia at his side? What's the reason for having the well brought Zia inside Achilles' era? Would Zia's presence change Achilles' name? Or would history from the book stays as it was written from the book in the future?
