The Swan Alpha's Mate

The Swan Alpha's Mate

Alpha Borin wears a proud smile. “There are tales,” Ronan continues, casually, as if discussing the weather, “of lesser shifters hiding in the wild. Creatures who have forgotten their place. Fox-spirits who steal our rabbits in the field and bear-shifters who claim our caves, robbing our warriors of where to sleep when they go to war.” A chill spills down my spine. My fingers tremble. I clasp my hands in my lap. I suspect that this is going somewhere. “And some say….even swans.”

The Alpha Can't Tame ME

The Alpha Can't Tame ME

It was the first time I had ever been genuinely nervous over a rabbit. “Rabbits are one of my favorite animals. They’re so cute, hmmm,” she said cheerfully, turning to me. “How about you, Alice?” she asked. “Me?” I asked. She nodded. “I like dogs. They’re adorable and funny,” I replied. “What about creatures?” she asked again. I raised my brow. “What do you mean?” I asked. “Creatures… like vampires, fairies, witches, mermaids… werewolves. Which creatures do you like?”

The Ascension

The Ascension

once joked by Fernando who had become fond of teasing small furry animals, especially dogs. But to this Ley became the voice of doubt, replying, "I still advise not to be complacent. We can't always stay in the capital and apart from Anitos, beings like werehorses, ghosts, and tiyanak exist." Immediately, the mood of the two fell.

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

The Game of Heavens and Earth

The Game of Heavens and Earth

I stepped back as far away as possible, seeing everybody grinned at me while Marseille’s three companions frowned. From time to time, we caught sight of squirrels, moose, and any animals that could be found in woods back on Earth. There were also mythical creatures here; golden stags, rabbits with horns and wings, wild unicorns, and rainbow-feathered fowls. Anne told us not to worry about the dangerous beasts here. She had the power over any wild animals except those that didn’t live in forests and woodlands, though she warned there might be invasive ones made home here because of the Red Flight Crisis, like the deathstalkers back in Andorra’s Vein.

TWISTED FATES: THE ALPHA AND THE PRINCESS

TWISTED FATES: THE ALPHA AND THE PRINCESS

he groaned deeply enough for me to hear. What was he? Why could he smell that I'm having trouble controlling over my throbbing flesh? Was he a dog? Huh! Absurd! What were you thinking, Rafaella? How could a dog transform into a prince? I chuckled inwardly. Did I read too many fantasy stories that I began to believe it now? That was way impossible, right? But I do have heard something like that from my cousin Red. I also wondered if she had already seen one. We are in an empire with different creatures residing, aside from the white sorceress in our kingdom that taught us about them, no one else had told me anything more. I wonder if it really exists.

The Tyrant Emperor and his Eccentric Mage

She tilted her head while questioning. "Oh, we have books and plenty of stories about mythical creatures, I think most, if not all of it exist here." Alexis nodded as she spoke, she was fairly confident her brain conjured up all these creatures to distract her from her impending death. As depressing as it was, Alexis hadn't felt the slight bit affected by the thought because she was thoroughly distracted. "Like history books?" The woman asked looking slightly suspicious of Alexis. Though Alexis noticed she thought nothing of it. "No, no fictional books. Like romances and stuff." She knew the word fantasy probably didn't exist here. "Enough of that anyway. Your my mana tutor, right?" Her voic

Scald Crow

Scald Crow

The harsh bite of the uncompromising words of Elphame cut the pirate queen to the quick. The slide changed and a hideous fleshy creature appeared. It was like a mythical creature mixed but rotted and wrong, “I don't what you call this, but we know them as Flesh golems. I suspect they are much more complicated than that. Each one is constructed out of animal parts, and listen to one master.” The slide changed to large bear wolf hybrids walking on all fours. Most of them looked unhappy to be in the presence of the dog people, “They have mounted division, again I don't know what these are, but they look strong.”

“Of course not. It’s just a house . . . my house, as you said.” “I can’t believe it. You’re Mr. Horror, and you don’t believe in ghosts? How is that even possible?” “Okay, Bias, I’m going to blow your mind with one hell of a revelation about writers and their stories. I’m pretty sure Lewis Carroll never fell down a rabbit hole into a magical Wonderland; it doesn’t seem likely that Anne Rice believes in vampires; and I highly doubt J.K. Rowling has met any real wizards. That’s what makes it fiction and not nonfiction.”

Rejected to be His Luna

Rejected to be His Luna

Zahir said. “Oceans? There were creatures with super-consciousness like us in the oceans?” Zeve asked. Zahir looked at her, “yes, your highness. Werewolves, vampires and sorcizens inhabited the land and mer-people and sirens inhabited the oceans. Their upper bodies looked like us, but their lower bodies were that of a fish.” “Wait! What! This is insane! They were fantasy creatures, not real!” Lucella said. “Just because they are fantasy doesn’t mean they aren’t real. Fantasy is nothing but a recreation of a creation that our minds couldn’t comprehend, but eyes remembered, royal doctor,” Zahir said in a calm, respectful tone.

A Dark Curse

A Dark Curse

My teeth stretch, pricking my bottom lip. It feels like…home. My paws sink into the grass as I take off across the yard. Beside me, a black fox darts between the bushes, bounding over the stone path. Tristan’s emerald eyes catch mine in silent glee. Our spirit animals are bigger than their natural counterparts, with Tristan’s fox nearly as big as any wolf. “Hey!” Cain’s voice roars across the front yard, but it’s too late.
