Alexis nodded as she spoke, she was fairly confident her brain conjured up all these creatures to distract her from her impending death. As depressing as it was, Alexis hadn't felt the slight bit affected by the thought because she was thoroughly distracted. "Like history books?" The woman asked looking slightly suspicious of Alexis. Though Alexis noticed she thought nothing of it. "No, no fictional books. Like romances and stuff." She knew the word fantasy probably didn't exist here. "Enough of that anyway. Charlotte asked trying to figure out the reason behind her wolf’s wish. “Just trust me. Write it.” Her wolf snapped. Worried that she’d anger her more, Charlotte quickly put ‘fairies’ below ‘werewolves’ but she didn’t think that they were fairies amongst the species in her. She flipped the pages of the book again after her wolf’s weird behavior. The page opened to that of ‘werecats’. Charlotte was surprised at that. Werecats…huh! There’s no way that this is real, she thought to herself.

Is this Rimalaya, the planet of magical animals? But I am obviously magic-free! I bet this isn’t Thepsis either, the world of creatures that are half human and half animal. Lastly, I am sure not in Xoutadhel where the humans have characteristics of an animal, because if there’s something I learned about that planet, there is no single animal living in there. And at least, they are humans!

I said. “Yeah. Pretty much.” He said. “Well, they know that I’m here. What are those things?” I asked. “Sphinx.” A soldier said. “Human headed lions.” I said. “You know your animals.” The King said. “They’re mythical creatures in my world. They don’t exist except in story books.” I said. “Well, they are very real here.” He said. I stood and watched as the lions ran closer to the castle before the King gave the order. The arrows and cannons were set off and they were aimed at as many of those creatures as possible.

Creatures of legend, long lost to time, but still mentioned in whispers by those who believed. My eyes skimmed over the names, fascinated by the variety of beings that had once walked the earth. There were shadow walkers, creatures made of living darkness; phoenixes, birds of fire and rebirth; and water nymphs, elusive beings who lived in the depths of the ocean. My heart quickened as I read, excitement bubbling up inside me. The world was so vast, filled with mysteries and wonders I had never even imagined. As I turned the pages, I found myself lost in the world of the book, captivated by the endless possibilities it presented.

Most of them looked unhappy to be in the presence of the dog people, “They have mounted division, again I don't know what these are, but they look strong.”

I’m pretty sure Lewis Carroll never fell down a rabbit hole into a magical Wonderland; it doesn’t seem likely that Anne Rice believes in vampires; and I highly doubt J.K. Rowling has met any real wizards. That’s what makes it fiction and not nonfiction.”

Zahir said. “Oceans? There were creatures with super-consciousness like us in the oceans?” Zeve asked. Zahir looked at her, “yes, your highness. Werewolves, vampires and sorcizens inhabited the land and mer-people and sirens inhabited the oceans. Their upper bodies looked like us, but their lower bodies were that of a fish.” “Wait! What! This is insane! They were fantasy creatures, not real!” Lucella said. “Just because they are fantasy doesn’t mean they aren’t real. Fantasy is nothing but a recreation of a creation that our minds couldn’t comprehend, but eyes remembered, royal doctor,” Zahir said in a calm, respectful tone.

"But I'll give you credit...You are impressive..." He opened his mouth to speak but she began to speak again. "I mean, it sounds spectacular that you realized you would be going to jail soon for murdering eleven men and you decided to buy your way out of your crime by creating this whole fictional world of werewolves and unhuman creatures. Tell me, are they witches too? Vampires? You know, I love Vampires. You know what I think? You have a severe case of rabies and I'm going to phone animal control right now…”
