In my past life, my class cornered me on the school rooftop after our SAT. "Winnie wouldn't have jumped if you didn't rat us out!" "You ruined our chances to make it into Croma, the best college there is! We had a million staked on this!" With the class officer taking the lead, over a dozen pairs of hands pushed me at the same time. I could hear the howling in my ears as I fell, and they were all laughing in relief. She was presenting an app called the Ultimate Answer Sheet, with an electronic contract beside it. "

When I was younger, I had immersed myself in books and movies of heroic battles. The tales were always gorgeous in a way-heart-pumping and engaging, filled with quick moves and dancing blows. Even though she was older now, her strength and skills were still intact. By the time she was done, Mary's face was swollen and red. Bright red slap marks adorned her cheeks. Mary's state of misery spurred Gordon to rush at my mom to hit her. Upon seeing this, my family couldn't hold back any longer and charged forward.

Mrs Rasemela held her hands on the air as she angrily hit them on her stirring wheels. Brenda said angrily as she stared at the cars parked ahead of her. Brenda held the wheels tightly as though she was about ripping them off. She picked up her phone as she dialed her husband Mr Rasemela.

and Brandon suddenly changes his face and I realize this is the moment when he will start fighting. I mean, in your job and when you compete, people are trying to hurt you – that’s the whole point, isn’t it? That’s how you win? By beating someone else, quite literally?” “Well, yeah.” He grinned. “I guess you can see karate and boxing that way. But they’re also disciplines. They’re about training and pushing yourself and getting stronger, faster, better. And ultimately, they’re about learning to control the power you have – having the strength of mind to not do others harm, even if you can.” “So, you’d say that the benefits are worth all the risks of being hurt?” “Absolutel
