We didn't have that subject in our school in Canada, and the only thing I remember is my mom's stories. I know stories about Dr. Jose Rizal and his works, Noli Me Tangere, and El Filibusterismo. But other than that, I don't know much. I've heard about Magellan and Lapu-Lapu, but honestly, I don't know what really happened to them back then. And now that I'm here, I need to read everything. I need to know what really happened in Philippine history. After all, I'm a Filipina. It would be nice if I had a camera so I could at least read some of the things when I get home. It was probably a myth about the sun and the moon goddess, just a bunch of stories told to young werewolves, sometimes it was meant to scare them, other times to educate. I slammed the book close, I wasn't here for fairy tales and myths. I was here for legends, actually stories that had something to do with me.
