she asked sarcastically as her hands lit up with flames. “I am just trying to help.” “Well, don’t. I didn’t ask for it.” She fumed as she stomped away. I could understand why she was frustrated, but she also needed to understand that her two primary emotions, passion and anger, controlled her element, her personality was large amounts of both. My parents had worked hard to train her to control her ability, and I had the feeling that deep down she was scared of it and what could happen if she got too close to someone, so her outbursts of power were a shield she unconsciously did to push those who wanted to be close to her away.

I watch what’s left of their lives drain from their faces and I know exactly why that's. As the Alpha, I’m obliged to be a tenacious, intrepid, resilient and indomitable leader. Fire benders were considered abominations among witches many years ago and would be killed for it. I didn't even know I had that gift. Not until today. “What do you think of me now? Do you... think I am dangerous?” I asked. He went completely silent, and that made my heart tighten. His silence was louder than any answer he could’ve given me.

Earth is steady and stubborn. Air is intellectual and detached. Water is emotional and intuitive. Spirit is... harder to define, but it's usually about connection and intuition." Seth's eyes widened slightly. "You've studied this before?" I felt heat rise to my cheeks. "I read whatever books I could get my hands on. The pack library was the one place I could hide sometimes."

he hissed, bending his head closer. "Wrong move," I growled, shooting my hand up to grasp his wrist, channeling intense heat into his bones. "Now!" I yelled at my dad as I dropped the walls, forcing the last of my fire's reserves into the man's bloodstream. I was petrified of Jin. His possessiveness and domineering character was not something I wanted to encounter again personally. He had terrible control over his actions and was naturally violent, although that was something he’s been battling with. He was a manipulative snake who could charm everyone and anything. It was no surprise why he was treated like a god.

It would have been less torture. Then again, resentments are better than regret. I did what I had to do and I don't regret anything. It started three years back. It will end soon. Since earth is your element, you assimilated that one easily. Kaylani touched you with her water, guiding you to be calm and helping your body integrate that element as well. You are extremely adept with air, the way you use it to manipulate the bullets and arrows in our fights, so I think you adapted to that part of the element easily as well.” He looks at me, reaching up to stroke my cheek. “Anger is an emotion that you rarely feel and even more rarely express.
