First Book Vampire Diaries Series Novels & Stories

Heaving a sigh, I picked up the book which I had left the study with and lay down on my bed before dragging the duvet at my feet up to my chest. I swiped open the book to the very first chapter and began to read. I didn't really find the book interesting but it was the least I could do for myself while serving father's punishment. The book was surprisingly about the history of vampires and my mind couldn't stop bringing back Sir Bernard's teaching about a bereaved vampire.

I just shook my head and tried to get it out of my head. I got the book that I borrowed from the library. I remembered that this book was from Zion, the one he said I’ll like. The main character was a female vampire who had just gotten off of her transition. I’ve read some pages and I stopped when I realized something. Some of the information was familiar to me. I went back to the other pages to read it again.

I was momentarily distracted by Serin's grunt of pain, which allowed one of the injured vampires to bite down into my neck. I hissed at the sensation before ripping his head off and quickly making my way to Serin and helping him out. I hissed as the bite on my neck began to sting and hoped that the vampire that bit me didn't carry any infection. Hoisting Serin up by his hands, I pulled him up and along with me.

Halfway through the movie and its purpose of distracting me actually starts working. I will never tell Celestine this, but the vampire diaries is actually a very enticing series. It may even be one of my favorites. At first, I had started watching it because I wanted to see what was so special about it that had Celestine hooked. But after the first season, the cliffhanger and suspense had kept me going until I had finished all eight of them. It's a secret I'm going to take to my grave because I know Celestine will never let me hear the end of it if she happens to find out.
