Her brows were contorted as she scribbled her penmanship a little lopsided and was almost unreadable, but she didn’t dare rewrite it, knowing full well that it would still be the same.
There were loud cheers from outside the field. The Shadowests were out in the sun, playing Chranxytsion. Though the Skippers persuaded her to go with them to watch the final game, Z declined. What she wanted to do at the moment was finish these open letters. She’d been thinking about it ever since a week ago, after she neglected flying a single lantern for the dead. It just took too long for her to make some lanterns, but her efforts, at the very least, weren’t fruitless.
