Damien POV: I awoke with a start, my heart pounding as the remnants of a nightmare still clung to my mind. The moon's soft glow illuminated my chamber, and I sat up, rubbing my temples to dispel the haunting memories. It had been a dream about Amia—the day I stood against her, resulting in her banishment from our pack. I recalled the accusations, the anger, and the bitter taste of betrayal that had clouded my judgment.

“I don’t know how, but it’s back.” “Use it,” he urged, his voice filled with a renewed sense of hope. “You can turn the tide with it.” With a deep breath, I focused on the flames, letting them grow, feeling the power surge through me. I threw my hands out, and fire shot forward, consuming the enemies in its path. It was a beautiful and terrifying sight, the flames licking at the night sky, painting the battlefield in shades of orange and red.

Ember is dressed in fire-forged armor, standing over my chained body. “You were always too soft, Bastion.” She says. “Too foolish and self-centered to see what I really needed.” The same man stands behind her, arms folded, looking like a muscle-bound god. “You want me to kill him, Flame?” She smiles “No. let him rot. He was never worth my time.” The vision faded and I screamed, not out loud, my dry throat couldn’t handle it. But inside, where it counts. Where she wants it to hurt.

Immediately, a column of flames screamed into the sky, setting almost half a dozen Blood Corpses ablaze. The Flames devoured the Blood Corpses with the voracity and fervor of a starving beast and the putrid fetor of burning flesh filled the air. Some of the monsters suffered damages that rendered them immobile while some were reduced into slabs of charred meat, eliciting screams and gasps of shock and dismay from the defenders. These were Blood Corpses with strength equal to mages of the Nirvana Realm, but they were so helpless before the great strength of the Flames that they could hardly put up a fight.

Vayu clenched his fist, breaths heavy with heat. Flames gathered around his body. His face and voice distorted into monstrosity. Column of flames erupted out of Vayu, lighting up the colorless carnage before him. With a long, echoing howl, Flare Fox announced his fury, that someone would soon feel the scorching heat of his flames.

James nodded lightly and replied, “Alright, let’s look around.” The two stepped forward and disappeared from the spot. The next moment, they had already entered the Flammae’s territory. They shifted through the area and finally arrived in the Flammae’s core city, Flame City. On the east side of the city was a spiritual mountain. From a distance, it looked like a blazing fire. Even the sky was a fiery red, and the clouds looked like flames. “The Flammae are the last surviving race of the Elemental Primevals.” Qiyana looked at the field ahead of them and sighed.
