Where the Flowers Go

Where the Flowers Go

Maybe it was when he whispered sweet nothings about loving me, about a lavish wedding, but ended up with his arms around Susanna, kissing her again and again, giving her the wedding, standing with her at the altar, and making me the one left in the shadows? I thought about calling him out. On the drive from work to home, a thousand questions burned on my tongue, but I never let them out. It was not worth it. I dialed a number and gave my orders. "Alan, I'm heading overseas in three days for Ms. Jackson's wedding planning. I need to add a detail. "Have a courier deliver a bouquet of flowers. On the card, just write 'Wishing Mr. Frank and Ms. Susanna a lifetime of happiness' and sign my name.

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

"Eh... I found them!" She shot off into the sky. Using the "Flame Walk" Ren taught her. Little motes of fire appeared after each step. Ren just floated up with his Ion energy over the rooftops. Keeping her in eyesight as he did so. Felicity landed in the courtyard of a family. The homes were pretty worn out and falling apart. no servants. Just an old blind man and a little boy playing. The child was maybe 2 or so. A frail woman came from the back. Body beaten that hid a very once beautiful woman.

Flames Returns - Havenwood Series (Book 1)

Flames Returns - Havenwood Series (Book 1)

I tell him before ducking outside and sparking up a smoke as I lean on my polished bike. My thoughts wander to the woman who called herself Flames last night. She'd had my attention as soon as her wide green eyes had met mine, her full lips curled in an amused smile as she casually dealt with Tanya. When she walked into the bar, I'd stood back and observed as everyone tracked the fiery red heads movements through the room. Whether she meant to or not, she managed to get the attention of everyone in there and I'm sure caused a few to suffer from their eyes wandering off of their ol' ladies. When she has walked away from me outside, my c**k had jumped in my trousers as I watched her round hips

The Alpha's First Mate

The Alpha's First Mate

the maid warns me. I nodded, answering her. The maid then exits the attic leaving me alone. I stood still in front of the door of the attic; staring around the shabby small place, planning on how I will organize the place very well in not getting in any trouble with the evil alpha. I lower my head sadly being reminded that the bitch was my one true mate. The one I was supposed to spend my entire life with. My heart started to pain me hurt that he had to be the one. Quickly, I raise my head and started to take up the boxes placing them within the left side of the attic, away from the window. I properly started to assemble the boxes and made them into 8 rows and columns.

The Alpha’s abducted Luna

The Alpha’s abducted Luna

She would tell Lu-Lu the whole episode of what just happened and they'd laugh at it together. Knowing fully well that she wouldn't be able to fall asleep again, she decided to read a book. A novel Lu-Lu had borrowed her over a month ago. It was supposed to be a good book about a cowgirl and aliens. Trust Lu-Lu to pick the weirdest things. Mira settled down on her mini couch by her west window. Her room was actually the attic. When Mira and her mom had moved to this house. Mira immediately fell in love with the attic and its' window views. It had two windows, one facing the busy street while the other facing the forest behind the house. One window was always so lively while the other serene a

MISERABLE AT BEST

MISERABLE AT BEST

I refused to join them because I don't like to pretend I was enjoying a vacation when I have a lot of things going on in my mind. I started reading the book Aae left as a gift for Christmas. He went home while Tita Annly spent the breaks at the hospital. Like me, she's not fond of celebrating. I just visited the church during Christmas Eve and watched the fireworks outside the porch. It was sad, but I like it. I made a lot of realizations these past few days. I already touched the soft edge of the book when my eyes caught a glimpse of the flower pot near my coffee. The pink-fern like petals were swaying a little as the wind brushed against my hair.

Auctioned To The Rogue King

Auctioned To The Rogue King

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN OMNISCIENT POV The dark attic. Two cowering kids, wrapped up in a blanket, holding hands. A dust-covered bed that was the only place they could sleep on. The scattered room was filled with useless, harmful and dangerous things. A toxic environment for four year old kids, and Azel and Azella watched as another dawn broke. Soon, sunlight would stream in. Just in a matter of a few more hours. The hatch would open, and a frowning old lady would climb in to give them food that should belong to pets.

FLOWERS OR DOLLARS

FLOWERS OR DOLLARS

Main reason I had bought the beverages. My pace began to diminish and my smile faded when I discovered Jane was still very much around, sitting very close to Louisa. Her arms tucked in hers. It seemed like they had a very good relationship earlier on and she had been having a heart to heart conversation with her. My eyes scrolled through the hospital cabinet that was already loaded with fruit drinks, water and snacks. Two story books was also placed on the table, Roald Dahl's ”Matilda" and Kenneth Grahame's ”The Wind in the Willows". Jane was clutching a bouquet of flowers and another was rested at Maurice's side, she definitely came prepared and before me.

Dreaming of Flowers

Dreaming of Flowers

I knew my mom would be pissed that I was even considering marrying this man, but the thought of him with someone else made a ball of furious rage form in my chest. I swallow as we stop in front of a high entry way covered by hanging flowers. "Have fun, Lady Delilah." I smile at Chepi and walk through the flowers. Here we go. The greenhouse was probably twenty feet by twenty feet, with rounded edges rather than squared like the rest of the rooms. The ceiling was replaced with a crisscrossing wood pattern, no glass though, just vines and flowers and moss climbing over the wood. I wondered if it'd form a natural roof one day. The sides of the room have rows of seedlings just barely sprouting, f

SCARRED HEARTS (Book 2 of Precious Series)

“The smell of coffee woke me up. Ami and I used to wake up to coffee brewing in our aunt’s house whenever we pay a visit. “You mean. Your cousin Rain’s house? Do you and Ami have your own rooms there?” “Well yes. Mine is like the room here, painted in soft lilac with lilac flowers everywhere while Ami’s is in a muted sky blue color with the sky and clouds as her ceiling. My aunt always makes sure our rooms are always cleaned. How I love that dear lady. I am glad they will be coming over so I have help comforting Ami over the pain of Ali’s rejection. Any cake to go with your coffee, sir?” “Varrick, and nope no cake but I have buns.”
