"Mommy! See I drew this." Sweety showed me her drawing. “What baby?” I bought the book from her hand and was astonished by seeing her drawing skills. "Wow!! It's beautiful." I was mesmerized by the beauty of her drawing. "Baby, did you draw this?" I asked once again to confirm whether I heard her correctly. "Yeah!!!" She shook her head excitedly. "The what?" Aiden proudly lifted the parchment, presenting it with a triumphant flourish. It was a masterpiece of terrible stick figures. There was a tall, blocky man with a jagged golden crown, a woman wearing an oversized silver tiara, a small blob representing a little boy, a giant black dog with six legs, a glowing stick figure surrounded by yellow loops, and a final girl drawn with aggressively angry V-shaped eyebrows. Kael let out a long, dry sigh. "Let me guess. The one with the furious eyebrows is your long-lost aunt?"

Lottie's POV I watched as Fluffy approached me, her head nudging at my stomach gently. A cute sound bubbled from her throat. A warm sensation spread through me as Fluffy's touch seemed to resonate with the pups stirring inside me. It was as if they recognised the hellhound's presence, responding with gentle flutters. I couldn't explain how, but despite the cuffs suppressing my abilities, this connection brought me a glimmer of relief. For a moment, the fear and uncertainty faded, replaced by a comforting sense of unity.

It was all kinds of different colors and shapes gathered in one space, so she did not know what he was trying to draw. However, the colorfulness was full of childishness and was very cute.

She was somewhere around seven or eight, completely absorbed in whatever she was drawing, her tongue pressed to the corner of her mouth in concentration. I lowered myself carefully into a chair near her, mindful of my ribs, and looked at the paper. The drawing was full. Not in a crowded way, in a deliberate way, like she had a clear picture in her head and was working her way across the page with intention. There was a dragon in the top left, red and blocky with impressive teeth. Below it, a woman in a red cape with a pointed hat on a flying broom, carefully coloured with a orange crayon. To the right of that, something with fangs and a dark cape that I was fairly certain was meant to be a v
