"What are we drawing, Eli?"
"Animals," Eli said, his small hand moving with fierce concentration. "Mrs. Yusuf said to draw our favorites."
"How many do we have?"
"Three." Eli pointed a small finger. "That's a brachiosaurus. That's Patterson. That's Gerald."
