Marriage First, Mate Second
It’s a unicorn galloping through the field, and unless I’m very much mistaken, it appears to be smiling.
“Is that what I think it is,” she asks in amazement, “Because it looks exactly like..”
“Yeah, that’s a unicorn. His name is Ray,” Colin replies with a huge grin, “As in, ‘ray of sunshine’. The students named him actually. He’s sort of our buddy. He’s not always around. He wanders in and out of dimensions. But when he stops by, we’re all happy to see him!”
“Does he stop by often,” I ask him in shock, “I mean, I’ve never seen a real unicorn. I’ve heard stories, but I can’t say that I’ve ever spotted one in real life!”
