Gryphon flies down in front of the crowd, and they all stare in fascination. I ask, “Gryphon, we have a girl who would like to know if unicorns exist.” Gryphon chuckles, “Yes, they are real, but they don’t live on your Earth. They would all be killed, so I protect them.” Then he whistles and four unicorns fly in with four pegasi. There was a huge round of applause, and the girls were asking to pet them.

There is noise but they are not the normal noises I want to hear. I can stand a walk a little after a few days but I still feel bored when alone. I grinned and excused myself to go and clean up. Once in my room, there was a gift sitting on my bed. I went over and opened it. It was a small framed portrait of what looked like a great black horse with wings, and it had a head like the cross of a seahorse and dragon, the mane and tail looked feathery, but I wouldn’t know until I was to see one. The animal was magnificent. The card read, 'One day I will take you for a ride on my tayren. That is what the flying animals are called on our worlds. Hope we can be friends.'
