I forced my eyes back to the glass vase in my hands and polished it with extra care, determined to focus on the work. But even as I tried, my traitorous gaze flicked toward Derick one more time. She read the words one after the other; as her finger touched a part of the words, a secret hole opened, revealing a large book. Chloe was standing behind her, curious of what's happening She carried it, blow on it as the book was covered in dust. Chloe handed her a cloth and dusted it with it.
