FATED MATES IN THE SHADOWS

FATED MATES IN THE SHADOWS

The title sent shivers through me: 'Dark Powers, Secrets of the Werewolves'. I opened the book, and a strange glow emanated from the pages. I felt a sudden jolt, like a surge of electricity had passed through me. The room began to spin, and I fell to the ground, the book slipping from my grasp. As I struggled to get up, I heard the old woman's voice, urgent and worried. 'Ryker! Ryker, what's wrong?' She rushed into the room, her eyes scanning me frantically. Then her gaze fell upon the book, and her expression changed to one of alarm. 'Oh, no. You shouldn't have touched that.'

Alpha's Regret: Reclaiming his Whisperer Luna

Alpha's Regret: Reclaiming his Whisperer Luna

I had no time to waste, and that ocean of books was demanding my undivided attention. So, as a last resort, I checked the files for classification of books and eventually found the section regarding interracial mating. The topic of the two bloodlines was eye-opening for me, my heart flipped several times reading the details of the bonds. I was so lost in gathering those facts that time flew by, and I couldn’t notice the sun was setting in the East when Nova started howling painfully. “We’re going to lose something very important, Helena. I’m scared!” Her pure fear enveloped my body. I considered this reaction natural, as the chapter I was reading was terrifying. However, soon my stomach knot

Definitely a read. This book left me with so many emotions. Crying to yelling at the characters in this book. Clearly this writer found their calling when becoming an author. About to start reading some of their other works now. Good job on this one though.

he said, then looked at me. I was surprised as it was not part of our schedule. "Ok, I can take the jeepney from here. Just enjoy," I replied. Lance stared at me before saying, "You won't come with us? I was hoping to get your feedback on a book I was hoping to buy." Izzie grinned and pulled me towards Lance's car. "Of course, Nia will come with us. I will be going someplace with Theo but you two enjoy your friendly date." Lance opened the door for us and Izzie quickly sat at the back. I took the passenger side. Soon, we were driving towards the mall. It was a lazy Saturday morning and there were very few shoppers at that time. Lizzie dashed to the mall after saying goodbye to us. The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

She opened it—pages parting easily now, as though the book recognized her exhaustion and offered no resistance. She flipped past the early chapters she had already memorized. Deeper. To the sections she had only skimmed before, too afraid to linger. *Control of the Undead* The script here was denser, colder. Diagrams of binding circles, sigils of domination, lists of names for the restless dead. Zombies—simple thralls of flesh, bound by will alone. Ghouls—carrion-eaters, drawn by hunger, controlled through offerings of meat and bone.

Though a Mirror Darkly

Though a Mirror Darkly

“No doubt.” “What about those two small FedEx boxes?” “Most recent novels from Samhain Horror.” “Awesome. Those books I bought at the Webb County Library sale last week?” “Sorted into general and mystery fiction. Struck the mother lode with all those Mary Higgins Clark novels.” “We cater to all tastes, miss. Unless you like Twilight, 50 Shades of Gray or James Patterson. Folks want drivel, they can drive to Utica.” “Hey. I actually liked Twilight. It wasn’t all bad.”

SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

They were images of blackened houses, broken bodies, and trembling survivors murmuring in fear. “They said they saw… shadows with horns,” Eden whispered. “They said the shadows walked through fire and didn’t burn. They tore through flesh like paper. One old man said he saw a child disappear in the blink of an eye. There was no blood. No scream. Just… gone.” Sophia paled. Her fingers trembled as she reached into the folds of her robe and pulled out a tattered, leather-bound grimoire. She flipped the pages quickly. “I’ve read this before,” she muttered,. “Long ago. When I was a child. The signs… horned shadows, vanishing people, soulless fire. It’s not mortal.”

“…the lady in the shadows…the one who watches you and wants you dead…” As the little girl's words from her vision swept over her,Beth felt a sense of terrifying unease. It was a coincidence, she told herself, nothing more.It was impossible that the little girl and Marcus could be speaking of the same thing,it was just impossible! “The lady in the shadows?”she said, her hands trembling in fear. In her mind she saw herself lying cold and frozen in that casket.

Alpha’s Rejected Luna, Reigning Lycan Queen

Alpha’s Rejected Luna, Reigning Lycan Queen

My eyes fell on a shelf, and I could see the most ancient books there. I grabbed one that looked strange among them. Then I leaned against a wall to read it calmly. The brown leather cover was torn from the corner of the book. As I opened it, I realized the edges of the pages were black with soot. 'This is weird,' I muttered. 'Someone tried to destroy this book. But who?'” I flipped to the first page and my heart stopped. Three words stared back at me… "Hell of Lycans." I gasped, the sound echoing through the silent library.

The Cursed Alpha And His Rejected Bride

The Cursed Alpha And His Rejected Bride

“This is the diary of Amanda Crossfield. Should you come across this book while I am deceased, please read it. The dead have nothing to fear. If I am still alive, proceed no further. I will flay your skin in the open sun and coat your exposed insides with honey.” “Ouh, gnarly,” I hissed. But the blood. That wasn’t a mistake…it wasn’t just the air setting a mood. It was the smell of the book, and the more I read, the wider my eyes got. I was seeing things that my own mother wrote that made so much sense, and at the same time, just made me freeze with shock. By the time I was at the last page, most of the paper was covered and smeared in the red liquid that had now turned deep maroon.

His Blood Slave

His Blood Slave

I have no idea. The books were old, some pages are rotten and smell like mushrooms in a wet forest. I smiled when I realized that these books were precious. And they were all about my kind, the Helsings. For hours, all I did was read and get drowned in these pile of books. I have never been flooded with knowledge unlike before. The more I got absorbed into the pages, the more this hatred towards the corrupted vampires grew. It was eye-opening. Written on the page was,
