Cliques had been established already and I couldn't break in . At first, the other kids weren't always mean . They didn't call me names . They didn't bully me . It all started to get worse in the month of November when Ms. Adams , my teacher asked us to write about our favorite thing in the world . I wrote my favorite thing to be the ability to see the midnight black sky with the shinny stars . It was a whole three page essay mixed with lots of emotions but the other kids considered it nonsense . While the teacher read my essay to the class they laughed out loud pointing fingers at me .

They felt like freedom. When Roman came home, I was still typing. He leaned against the doorway, watching me with that soft, curious smile of his. “What’s got you so focused?” he asked, walking closer. I looked up, blinking away the haze. “I’m writing something.” “Another blog post?” I hesitated before shaking my head. “Something bigger. I think… I think it’s time I tell my story.” He raised an eyebrow. “Your story?” I nodded, exhaling slowly. “Everything. From the beginning. Before you. With you. All of it.”

My life slowly came back on track as I resumed my classes for the final year exams and was working hard to manage everything. I used to write short stories for the website when Warren approached me through an email to write a book that he will publish. I was not sure if I was good enough to be published, but Warren showed great confidence in me. The first story I wrote was about the hardships my grandmother faced. It was a tragic story of a selfless woman who killed herself to save her daughter from the clutches of the brothel and the sad reality of women in the eighties.

“Let’s write the first draft of our story while the inspiration is fresh.” They spread out their sketchbooks and began to write, each friend taking turns to contribute lines. The story flowed effortlessly, infused with the magic of the waterfall and their laughter-filled day. Jace felt a deep sense of satisfaction as he watched the pages fill with words, each sentence a testament to their friendship. As the sun began its descent, casting a golden glow over the waterfall, they wrapped up their first draft. “This is amazing!” Mia said, her eyes shining. “I can’t believe how quickly we created this together.”

He let out the friendliest of smiles, making Anderson very uncomfortable. Anderson stared back and forth between Suit and the scroll. His mind was racing. The contract sounded simple enough. Straightforward, but he did not understand. ‘What did he mean by survive the stories? Did he not say I was going to tell a story? What does survive the story mean?’ Question after question popped up into his head. He could not help himself. He had no idea exactly what it meant, but one thing was for certain; He would not move forward if he did nothing but constantly question the situation

We walked in silence for a while after that, the only sounds our footsteps and the distant rustling of leaves. Then, after a beat, I said, “You still could, y’know.” She frowned. “Could what?” "Write stories, the way you wanted too.” She hesitated, then gave me the best answer. "I do that now as well. Only I write stories of real things. Real people who have been hurt." I'm not sure why I liked that answer alot. But I do.

WHAT'S NEXT!!?? I am taking the month of November off from my current series to participate in NaNoWriMo. For those who don't know what that is, I'd like to explain.
