I wish I could slip out of here but the annoying pixie by the door is blocking me in. "Why can't we just be friends again?" Izzy asks sadly and Briar lets out a heavy sigh. But that doesn’t need to ruin the amazing time we are going to have together! Because let me tell you, I would never do that sort of thing to you, ever. That’s cruel. Anne's calm demeanor was soothing, and Tris felt grateful for her friend's understanding. "I'll help Chris out, Tris," Anne said, her voice filled with conviction. "I may not be able to pay off the entire debt, but I'll do what I can." Tris felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. "Thank you, Anne. I really appreciate it." Anne smiled, her eyes warm with kindness. "Don't mention it, Tris. We're friends, and that's what friends are for." Tris felt a lump form in her throat as she looked at Anne. She had been so worried about what Anne would think, but her friend had surprised her with her kindness and generosity.
