To love a Lich

To love a Lich

Too obvious" he thought. He moved his bed around and checked under all the furniture. Having found nothing he sat on the small rug at the foot of his bed. Then as if the idea hit him in the head, he jumped up and moved the rug. One of the floor boards was worn away at it edges, showing more wear than the others. Aelfric fetched a quill and began to gently pry it up. Easily the short board came free revealing a small cubby containing the book. The book's cover looked like it had once been a midnight blue leather which had faded to grey and tan all along the edges and along the embossed image of a in center of its cover. Many of the pages appeared loose, sticking out at odd angles with frayed

The Alpha Claimed Me Deeply

The Alpha Claimed Me Deeply

She promises, pointing to an area where there are a few chairs around a table. I nodded, still a little uneasy but don't word it out. I better start searching for what I came here for and quickly. As Lily skimmed her way through the endless books, I decided to stay where I am and skim the big book she handed to me. Its olive green cover was very old and showed that it had been here for ages. There was no indication of what the book held in its knowledge apart from the golden art of a wolf sketched into it. I opened the book, the dusty yellow pages greeting me. I coughed. It seems no one had bothered to dust it off. It must've been sitting here for God knows how long.

I love this book so much! It’s the first one I go to for updates out of the 9 books I am currently following. Aurora and Xavier are such compelling characters, and the scenes are so hottttt! I also appreciate the author’s compassion for her readers—she tries not to keep us hanging in heartbreak!

Different from the typical werewolf stories. Overall great story that kept me reading to the end. Great effort!!! Will definitely recommend this. My only issue is that the ending felt a bit rushed and some minor plot lines were left hanging. Don’t want to give spoilers so can’t mention here.

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

CHAPTER ELEVEN In the library, Maud and Agnes were hunched over a large book. Its cover was a battered ring binder, and the pages were a mishmash of handwritten pages, photocopies, and typed sheets. Agnes had pulled the book from a drawer in the nearby desk, and Maud had watched with fascination as her friend carefully transferred the tome to the desk, the cover moving as though the pages were alive. Agnes was barely able to keep the contents secured within the binding.

Taming the Ruthless Alpha

Taming the Ruthless Alpha

Kendra motions us to have a seat, and then she takes out a large book from the shelves, we flinch as the book hits the table with a thud. Impatience is eating me raw, my fingers are practically itching at the thought of getting my hands on it. On the cover there is a one of a kind weird design, one that I’ve seen before, but where? I run my fingertips over it, trying to remember. And then it hits me, it’s the design from the compass pendant that Jasper gave Kylie.

Dear Helen Wilson, the repeated harassment that you have engaged into is called cyber-bullying and is punishable by law. If your life is boring, try do something fun and healthy, do not harass authors. The book is great and even if it weren't, a single review will suffice.

Hello I love your book, but for the past week I am not able to get Chapters 49, 50, 51 even though I get an alert that they are available. I thought it had to do with the app, but I get updates from the 3 other books that I am reading without any issues. I think there is a glitch on your end. Thanks

The Diary of a king: Maharana's untold story

The Diary of a king: Maharana's untold story

Taking the parchment from Vidhi's hand, Mrinal continued reading, "I'm not an author and I've no idea what compelled me to write this. But oh selfish one, since the day you left, I've been lonely!" "How romantic!" Teased Vidhi with a chuckle. "But whom is the book addressed to?" Mrinal shrugged and continued, "What better way to narrate then write our story. I hope...if at all you are there somewhere, you'd find this and treasure this book." Mrinal turned over the page and what met their eyes was a Swastik symbol drawn with a finger on the page. It was much lighter now and looked more orange than red on the yellowed parchment.

The Fated Queen

The Fated Queen

Familiar? The small gust swirled around them, making their hair dance and loose blades of grass sway in the air. The book trembled in the center of them as the cover jerked, threatening to open. With another wave of air, the cover flipped open to a blanket page. How strange. No text? How can they..? Everything went white.

Christmas in Evergreen

Christmas in Evergreen

I raised a brow while Amanda ran over to the counter and rummaged through her bag before coming back to me and handing me a tablet, “What’s this?” I asked; Amanda smiled and unlocked the tablet bringing me to a screen with an image with the title of my book and my name! “I hope you don’t mind, but,” Amanda motioned to the tablet and said, rather loudly, “I designed a cover for your book!” I looked at the image; it was a woman with a dragon wrapping itself around her. It looked incredible and, honestly, exactly how I envisioned it! I couldn’t help myself from bursting into tears. “What’s wrong?” Amanda asked, clearly worried, “Did I mess it up? Is it not what you were looking for?” I shook my

THE RAGING FRINX

THE RAGING FRINX

He knows exactly what he’s looking for. It’s Evelyn who calls out first. “Here! The Lost Frinx!” She reaches for the book, but the second her fingers wrap around its spine, the entire library reacts. The air shifts. A deep hum resonates through the chamber, building into something angrier. “The library is defending itself,” Yohan says flatly. “You shouldn’t have touched it yet.” Evelyn shoots him a glare, but there is no time for an argument. The floating shelves begin to tremble, books shaking violently in place as a sharp gust of wind tears through the chamber. The walls shudder.

TWO FATES, ONE THRONE.

TWO FATES, ONE THRONE.

Not much. Just enough to look wrong. I hesitated, then lifted it. Something slid out and landed softly on the mattress. A book. Old. Worn. The edges were frayed, the leather cover cracked with age. It didn’t look like something Raven would own. My chest tightened as I picked it up carefully. There was no title on the front. But inside the cover, written in neat handwriting were words that seemed too personal to read. Like it felt wrong opening it, but I did anyway.

Sierra Is Alive

Sierra Is Alive

She made a fist and tapped the hardwood floor. I was initially apprehensive, my gaze fixed on her palm tapping the floor. But I ultimately worked up the guts to sit next to her after our shoulders touched, yet it was not at all uncomfortable; it even felt like home. "Gone with the wind..." I uttered when I read the cover title of the book. To get a better view of the front cover page, I dusted away a few dust spots on the cover. It is undoubtedly old, and the spine is now gradually falling.
