There was nothing I could have said after all. I shook my head to signify my negative response. “What’s the matter, fag? Cat got your tongue?” another asked. They all laughed, and another hushed them. “Sshh, shhhh, listen. Do you ever wonder why the cat always seems to have his tongue?” They were all silent on this one. I knew the joke, a popular one among the homophobic community around me. “He’s scared of pussy!” They all laughed. Even I myself could not see how that joke was funny. “I don’t see how that was funny,” I said aloud.

I shriek. His expression falls but Liam quickly steps in. “Don’t worry, Mommy’s just a little squeamish about frogs but I think it’s pretty cool. What’s his name?” “Liam!” he chirps, making Liam arch a brow, half-smiling. I burst into a hearty laugh and snort, turning to my husband. “Well, you do act like a frog sometimes.” He smirks and whispers in my ear, “Maybe. But you're the one who's gonna be croaking my name later tonight.”

“Why did you not laugh?” Fay slowly got to her feet and cast a patronizing glance at Mina. "How do you feel about that? Is your joke truly funny? Check to see who is still laughing among those in attendance. Furthermore, a joke isn't considered a joke if it doesn't make the person telling it laugh,” After pausing, she went on, "It is called having a foul mouth." Everyone's odd eyes shifted to Mina as Fay said these words. Mina’s cheeks abruptly turned scarlet, and her eyes were full of hate as she gave Fay a scathing glance.

“Oh, Trisha just told the funniest joke.” Fiona raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. “A joke? From Trisha? This I’ve gotta hear.” “Oh, don’t worry, you’ll get it,” Trisha said, still grinning. “Alright, here goes. Why don’t skeletons fight each other?” Fiona blinked, trying to think. “I dunno. Why?” “Because they don’t have the guts!” Trisha finished with a flourish, proud of herself. Kathryn cracked up again, and Fiona couldn’t help but join in, shaking her head. “Alright, alright, that’s bad, but it’s funny. You should be a stand-up comedian, Trisha.”

The giggles pure out of my mouth as i watch him move his head from side to side. "What's funny?" He asks and i cover my mouth with both hands, holding in my laugh as i watch his fat lips move up and down in a quack rotation, his big head only growing bigger and bigger as he lifts an eyebrow at me. I couldn't hold it anymore so i burst out laughing so loud i nearly choke on my digested drink. "Have you been eating does mushroom like fertilizers again?" "What the fuck no!" He frowns "And what's so funny?"

The slap was heard as a decent 'smack', but their gestures screamed made up. It was not only them, there were more others. There were a two housewives sitting by the fountain, and a flock of young men were sitting in half circle on the ground in front of them. All of them were laughing. There were also children, running around the square with some young men. They were making funny faces while they ran and were laughing. "Um, Jai?" "Yes, Darrion?" "Did you possibly meant your joke Humor Fountain just few minutes ago?"

I asked, getting irritated by their insipid jokes. “What slave girl are you talking about? The one who appears to be the group leader said. “Have you been smoking weed” another asked. “You look like you need help” the skinny one added. “Stop it!” I screamed at the four of them, I was getting frustrated with their stupid pranks. Are they trying to drive me nuts, what was with all the clownish attitude?

She barely laughed at his jokes. “What’s funny?”
