Frozen Revenge

Frozen Revenge

"He chose to come here. Chose to work the fields. Chose freedom. That choice had risks. He accepted them." "Did he? Did he know that accepting freedom meant dying in a field at thirty-two?" "No one knows what accepting anything means. We just choose and hope." Elena covered James's face. "You gave him six months of choice. That's more than Victor gave him in two years." Forty-eighth stone for Hope's Garden. Maya carved it herself. The third winter was worse than the models predicted. Minus-thirty sustained. Minus-forty during storms. Minus-fifty for three days straight when polar vortex descended.

Auden’s Blessing

Auden’s Blessing

Yet Tyr’s wyvern cavalry had already set an ambush in the icy hills—just as the three Aesir forces converged, they were crushed in a single decisive strike. The Vana gods had long been known for their intolerance to cold and their generally mild nature. But the bloodshed on the ice that day sent chills even through many of the Aesir. Their will to resist seemed far stronger than we had ever imagined. *]:pointer-events-auto R6Vx5W_threadScrollVars scroll-mb-[calc(var(--scroll-root-safe-area-inset-bottom,0px)+var(--thread-response-height))] scroll-mt-(--header-height)" dir="auto" data-turn-id="31629bdc-e5eb-4af6-9935-ee05736611db" data-testid="conversation-turn-9" data-scroll-anchor="false" da

Of Frost and Fire

Of Frost and Fire

It looked like a promising place to start, Julian decided as Luther pulled into the motel only ten buildings away. "Another bloody defeat," Vic muttered, his displeasure giving even more bite to his British accent. "Gwen Frost, you couldn't kil a Reaper to save your bloody life. " I narrowed my own eyes and glared at Vic, hoping he would get the message to shut up already before Logan and the others heard him. I didn't want to advertise the fact that I had a talking sword. I didn't want to advertise a lot of things about myself. Not at Mythos.

Magnus: Dragon Prince

Magnus: Dragon Prince

she cried clutching her arm. Charr and Rex both made their way towards to wyvern, Charr with his axe in hand and Rex brought on Fafnir’s claw because so far it was the only weapon he had ever used. Charr jumped and brought his axe down hard onto the front shoulder of the wyvern, but instead of hitting flesh it merely clanged against an armoured scale section, the beast quickly turned its head and clamped its jaws down hard onto his axe, trapping it. It was also bringing its tail around to broadside Charr when Rex lashed out with his morphed claw connecting with the tail in motion, to his horror, the claw cleanly severed the tail where he had landed the blow. Screeching in pain the wyvern let

This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!

Rejected Me Once, Never Fool Me Twice

Rejected Me Once, Never Fool Me Twice

I snapped, sank teeth into his shoulder, twisting until he yelped and pulled back, staggering. “Tyron!” Winter’s voice cut through the chaos, chanting again: “Vorska lumeth… hara silven… krythos velmar… draenor shivah!” Frost swirled around us, jagged spikes shooting up from the stone floor, impaling rogue wolves mid-leap, freezing hybrids to their knees. The air was sharp, biting, alive. Another hybrid lunged at me from behind. I spun, claws tearing into its chest, ripping out a chunk of black flesh.

The Alpha’s Shadow Luna

The Alpha’s Shadow Luna

Eyes that were colorless, washed out, the dead white of ancient glacial ice. Keanu banked hard. The force of the turn nearly threw me sideways, would have if Cain’s arm hadn’t been locked around me like a steel band. The creature screamed past us close enough that I felt the displaced air rip at my clothes. Its tail, barbed with crystalline spines, swept through the space where we’d been a half second before. “Shit!” Cain’s voice was raw behind me. “It’s a frost wyrm! Keanu, we’re going to jump. Don’t play around with it. Kill it fast. There are probably others.”

Fenrir Rising

Fenrir Rising

When the wyvern is in range, Elenor uses her magic to manipulate the trees making the branches and roots form into a web at the last second, making sure it doesn't have time to dodge. The wyvern gets tangled up in the web of trees, as soon as Mortas sees this he wastes no time in attacking it, putting a hand up to conjure the ice and aiming for its wings. The ice punctures the wings of the beast and it lets out a blood-curdling screech. After making the beast immobile Mortas aims for the killing blow with a final attack. The ice crystals hit the beast in its chest, with blood spattering out of its wounds it quickly goes limp and dies.

The Lunar Legacy

The Lunar Legacy

Dawn growled, her golden form lunging at a wraith, claws slashing, frost exploding, the crimson light glinting in her eyes, the valley’s chill a call to battle, the icy ground trembling, Tess’s fire a flame, the Frostborn Echoes a thrum, the pack’s legacy a fire, the battle a frozen storm. The shard’s hum reached a crescendo, the crimson runes blazing, the ground within the circle splitting, a frosted form rising, the Frostborn Echoes’ champion, a Frost Weaver, its form a mass of frost and shadow, eyes glowing crimson, its roar shaking the valley, the creek’s ice shattering, the monoliths’ runes flaring, the air crackling with dark magic, the trees trembling, the pack’s tattoos glowing, thei

The Weight of Frost

The Weight of Frost

"The past eight months have been incredibly hard on the Frost Pack. Our family alone suffered a devastating loss." He let the weight of the recent massacre hang in the crisp air, giving space to the grief every wolf in the clearing still carried. Then, he lifted his chin. His posture straightened, the dark cloak shifting around his shoulders as sorrow gave way to fierce, unbreakable strength. "But in the depths of that despair, we did not break," Zyan declared. His voice rose, vibrating with the bone-deep power of a true Alpha. "Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, we shall rise again. We are rising again."

Whispers of Frost and Fire

Whispers of Frost and Fire

Saliva dripped like tar from their jaws, and their movements were jerky, twitching unnaturally. “Possessed!” I shouted. Rhett shifted in a blink, a blur of black fur and bared fangs. I called on the cold, let it surge through my veins. It was stronger now—more obedient. A smooth surge of winter power spread outward, coating the earth in frost. The wolves lunged.
