Spicy Desires

Spicy Desires

“Buy some. All of each color please” He laughed and bought two full baskets without hesitation. They wandered the market hand in hand. Charlotte kept pointing… at a stand selling handmade silver jewelry with stones the color of the lake at sunrise, at a woman weaving wide-brimmed straw hats with ribbons and dried flowers, at a fruit stall displaying strange, knobby pears she’d never seen before.

FORBIDDEN FRUIT

FORBIDDEN FRUIT

Abigail, the butler had appeared as well, trying to manage the situation. “I think the strawberries…” Harper tried. “The strawberries are poisoned!” I exclaimed, a finger in my mouth. “What are you saying?” Someone shouted at me. I didn't know who. Anyway, Harper's symptoms didn't worsen. She had a strawberry allergy but it was minor. It simply made her skin itch and redden. The inhouse nurse arrived and we were soon told she was going to be fine. “Such a pitiful soul,” Abigail muttered. “It must have been so painful.”

Higan

Higan

"How's that?" "Much better." I turned and spotted a straw woven basket that was filled with tropical delicacies. "Whoa, Hig," I said while walking to the basket,"someone left us a fruit basket." He smiled. "Must be Jenna. I'll have to thank her later." I turned to face him as I munched on a green grape. "The house sitter?"

PRETEND PRINCESS

PRETEND PRINCESS

"Yes. And. and I want food—lots. Send all of it. Sushi, ramen, wagashi, fruit—send it in a basket. Best quality. Today's for Yuki." He hesitated for half a beat, as if he felt the magnitude of that craving, but nodded after that. "Understood." "Thank you." Kenji handled the rest: ordering an upscale concierge. I drove this vintage eco-sedan to make it inconspicuous, but racing within. I restrained from playing Ecstasy chords—it needed to sound contemplative, not flashy. Still: revenge against cowardice. Ten minutes in, my team told me it was a group of chefs at Azabu that assembled the basket—fresh fruit, sweet mochi, yakitori, soup, three types of nigiri and a jar of matcha pudding. I permi

This book is really interesting and I'm waiting for more updates. Yuyu really is a walking colour disaster sometimes but I love it. Both Creed and Yuyu should sort out their messy relationship before getting together. I can already sense the tension though. Good job author and success to this book

Look At Me, Oneil

Look At Me, Oneil

When good things come, our past desires also reborn. It has been Essi’s hobby to stroll the Bordeaux market and find good deals there. Her stroll towards the inner parts of the market feels like her fresh meandering in the market of Bayanihan as well. From there, she learned that the best stalls are often at the hinter parts of the market and the best products are often hidden or covered by the old supplies. She happily picks up oranges and other fruits. A special stall offers fresh buko as well. She thought of preparing a buko salad as a special dessert for Oneil to enjoy. While she was waiting for the vendor to pack her items, some fruits rolled towards her feet.

The Rise, The last Queen

The Rise, The last Queen

Hana said lazily. Namio moved closer to Hana and whispered in her ear, "The Tronis, purple outside, grows independently in the high mountains. It has smooth skin on the outside and an extremely fragrant scent. Each tree has only one fruit; you must remember not to look wrong," In Hana's hand, a piece of paper clearly depicted the Tronis fruit that Namio Rankle mentioned. Yet exactly like what Henry had said, Hana was suddenly extremely curious as to why Henry knew these secrets. Namio squirmed in Hana's hand to hide the hidden sheet he had given her. Namio Rankle returned to his usual sinister form with a serious expression and said to Hana, "Now, I will take you to the gate to Cyber Island.

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

*** The following day, on August the 5th, Nanako, her father, and her aunt flew to Aurous Hill in the morning on the Ito family’s private jet. There were also maids that Nanako had carefully selected from home arriving in Aurous Hill at random as well as a large number of high-grade flowers purchased from all over Japan. The Americans were good at genetic modification in the field of agriculture, whereas the Japanese were good at breeding. Japan was also more refined in the high-grade categories, and many high-grade fruits were cultivated in Japan, from Fuji apples in the early years to the current king grapes, red-colored strawberries, and spring tangerines. The island really had the highes

REVENGE OF THE GOOD WIFE (ENGLISH)

REVENGE OF THE GOOD WIFE (ENGLISH)

As she reached the bottom, her eyes caught sight of Mang Lope returning from outside, carrying a basket overflowing with freshly harvested fruits and vegetables. "Good morning, dear," Mang Lope greeted her warmly, his voice carrying that same gentle affection he always had for her. The basket in his arms was brimming with color—ripe mangoes, bananas with their skin still tinged with green, and bright orange papayas, their sweet scent filling the air. Patricia smiled, her heart lifting at the sight of the vibrant produce. "Good morning, Mang Lope. I slept like a baby last night," she admitted, a soft laugh escaping her as she felt the lingering peace of her restful sleep.

The Billionaire’s Surrogate

The Billionaire’s Surrogate

Hilda says, walking towards me. "Yes. It's so sad they would not be mine." I reply, adding a smile to conceal my sadness. "It's okay. It's business." Mum pats my hair. "We got you some fruits. They are in the basket." She adds, hoping to change the topic. I look to see the hand woven basket filled with apples, grapes and kiwis at the top of the mini refrigerator, covered in polka dots napkin. I turn to her. "Thank you, mum."
