Who's the Substitute Now?

Who's the Substitute Now?

Meanwhile, the woman before him was obviously an ignorant retail vendor. Retail vendors knew nothing about medicinal herbs. On top of that, they also wasted his time with their endless questions, and wouldn't buy many medicinal herbs. He didn't want to sell his high-quality medicinal herbs to retail vendors who knew nothing. Natasha wasn't bothered by the gaze the supplier was giving her. She picked up a small purplish-blue fruit that looked somewhat like a nut. "This fruit is from Fragaland, right?" she casually asked, holding the fruit. The supplier's eyes lit up at her words. "You're an expert, huh?"

Save Me, Alpha

Save Me, Alpha

Lucas then uttered, “I will give you a second clue.” From the depths of his pocket, he retrieved a petite container. With a gentle motion, he unveiled its contents, revealing a collection of luscious, dark brown fruits. Harriet's inquisitive gaze fixated upon the peculiar sight before her. Unable to contain her curiosity, she inquired, “What is that?” “A dried Kalu,” he answered. Harriet's eyes widened in astonishment. The memory of sharing this very name with Ethan a mere few days ago flooded her mind.

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

“So where is this Deleima and what gossips do you have on this place?” Jai asked Darrion as they flew above the flower meadow in the South Gate. “Southward from our beautiful castle walls. The famous thing from that village is the Derima fruit. It tastes sweet and sour, and it’s a bit addicting to eat it one by one,” Darrion chuckled, seemingly having reminiscence of him eating the fruit. “You know how small bits it is, and what’s the most charming from it was that it doesn’t have any seeds! The tiny fruits are the seeds, and we can eat them like normal fruit flesh! How cool is that?!”

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

Before long, their little mouths were stained with blueberry juice. Even Atlas's lips had a hint of blue. We indulged in blueberries, picked some mangoes, pomegranates, star fruits, lychees, and even peaches... All the fruits were large and round, especially the lychees. I tasted one, and it was sweet and refreshing. I had a sudden idea and quickly had the gardener pick a basket full of fruits. Atlas was puzzled and asked, "What are you going to do with that?"

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

The Amorous Agreement

He first pinched her cheek then laughed away from her. "You're salivating ... Do you want to eat me?" “A-what! No, ah. ” he quickly wiped his mouth just to realize that his hand was muddy, so the ending spread the mud on his face. “Frahisto !!! You're annoying!" A little boodle fight was their lunch that day. They were in the yard and were able to sit at a bamboo table and chairs. The delicious and varied dishes cooked by Frahisto are laid out on the sea foods they got. After all, almost all crabs, clams, oysters and scallops are gone. It filled the two buckets he was carrying. Almost all of his female colleagues who were with Hunasan, were just watching and shaking with excitement.

Getting my ex-wife back

Getting my ex-wife back

He did not spit it out, lest he hurt Meroy's feelings. "Young Master Hansen, don't despise it because it doesn't taste good. You will change your mind after a few more bites." Meroy saw his expression. She pursed her lips and added hurriedly, "This is not available on the market. This tree was specially brought over from India by Madam Vivian. It is a very precious tree. Most people don't like it at first, but they will love it later." Sure enough, after a while, as if Hansen's mouth was honeyed with sweetness, he felt a refreshing sensation extending down to his throat and then to his stomach. Hansen only then realized the sweetness of the fruit. He couldn't help but smile and praise it.

A Blood-Like Rain (All the Hounds of Hell #2)

“If we ever are under attack, do not stay in my line of fire.” He blinked. I bent my head as I opened the door, hiding a smirk. I heard him leave the car a few beats after me. I supposed my appearance did not stand out here as much as it ever did anywhere else. I moved to the closest shop. “Hey, there pretty lady,” said the shopkeeper. “I got the best and freshest fruits in town. And I have everything form jackfruits from Bangladesh, Haitian mangos, Peruvian pacay, persimmons, pomelo, plantain, mangosteen…” he pointed to various exotic fruits.

Captive in the Dark by my Ex-husband

he asked gently as he grabbed my hand. I pouted as I dropped my gaze on our hands, thinking about what to eat. "I want... cotton fruit." I lifted my gaze at him and gently shook his arm. "With spicy shrimp paste." His brows knitted together in confusion as he studied my face as though he was seeing something foreign. "Cotton fruit?" His tone was filled with confusion. He scratched his brow. "Yes! They sell cotton fruit at the small wet market, right? I think it is still open? Do you think there is still available?"

Deprived: Queen of the Outcasts

Deprived: Queen of the Outcasts

It was no longer a fortress; it was a sanctuary. I sat in the council chamber, the warm morning sun catching the silver-white of my hair. On the table before me sat a bowl of fresh, roasted cashew nuts, harvested from the southern groves near the coast—a new trade established with the neutral packs of the south. Beside them lay a platter of sliced jackfruit, its sweet, tropical scent filling the room. These were the fruits of a land that had been given back its soul.
