I burst out laughing. “What’s that?” I asked, pointing at the basket.
Matthew smiled, looking shy. “It’s for you,” he said, placing it down in front of me.
“Are you serious?” I laughed again, standing up to look inside the basket. “Is this still because you almost killed me during training?”
He scratched the back of his neck. “Maybe.”
“You didn’t almost kill me,” I teased. “I’m fine now.”
“I still feel bad,” he said softly, looking down at his boots.
