You've got to be f*cking kidding me. Back in my room, I groan when I try in what should be about the hundredth code combination. It blares red. Wrong. Once I'd returned to Veloria, I set about to reading the book's content. But just as I flipped the thick cover, I was met with resistance. With each repeated try, I grew frustrated. Until I turned the book over. A mystical binding. In form of a code combination. Who knows what the f*ck Faerin had used as her password.

“He’s troublesome.” I roll my eyes and hold the spine of a book titled ‘Dark Magic’ to pull it. “Why is it stuck?” I mutter, yanking the stubborn book spine, but it won’t budge. I throw my weight into it, only to hear a groaning sound from above. My eyes go wide in horror as the entire shelf seems to tilt forward.

Out of frustration, she twisted his ear hard as they walked down the street. Liam screamed in pain. He started crying and throwing a fit. By the tenth chapter, the world around Fru had begun to shift. "What in gods' name of craziness is going on..." Fru whispered, as she struggled to stand straight. Her eyes darting around her. The sound of crickets dulled into silence. "Whoa, whoa, whoa" Fru's mouth rounded in disbelief as the ink in the book rippled beneath her gaze, words liquefying into an emerald glow.

The book slipped slightly in my hand. And everything went dark.
