“Lunar Cycles and Their Effect on Healing… Maybe. I pulled a few books out, stacking them in my arm. Then, as I reached for another book on the top shelf, my fingers barely brushed the binding before the old wood creaked beneath my touch. No! The entire shelf wobbled. Before I could react, it tipped forward, sending books crashing to the floor with a loud thud. I stumbled back, my heart racing. “Great,” I groaned, crouching down to pick them up. One by one, I stacked them neatly. But as I reached for the last book, my fingers brushed against something stiff and glossy.

I barely slept last night preparing for this day. "UGH!!!" In my frustration I accidentally knocked the book on my table and it hit the ground with a loud thud. Ace immediately ran and picked the book up. "What the hell are you doing!?" He yelled. "Books are precious artifacts for learning and you just throw them away because I am keeping you company!?" He flared up in anger and he inspected how much damage I have caused on the book. In that moment, I realized that I am not so unlucky after all. PRINCE Ace is a bookworm.

I panic easily and I'm shaky when I'm lying. I grabbed random books and left Daniel in the library. I was in a panic that I couldn't really see what book I'd grabbed. The books were dusty, some pages were ripped on their edges. I just hope no pages are missing. Looking down at the heavy books I'm carrying, I smiled upon reading the first book's title. “Emberton.”

“What?” Lucy had somehow made it down to her knees and was holding the incriminating book in both hands, staring at the cover in confusion. When she heard no response, she looked up. Great. Just great. Mattie thought. How has she managed to hire what had to be the only nineteen year old in northern California who would never heard of the Kama Sutra, and the only eighty year olds, who apparently had? She struggled to her feet, Then reached for the book with one hand and pulling Lucy to her feet with the other. “ It’s nothing. Just a library book I checked out. By accident. Just a silly mistake.“

Feeling curious, I opened the cover. Instantly, something fluttered into my face. It was all I could do to suppress a squeal. The thin object tumbled to the floor. It looked like a small bookmark. Odd that it was at the very front of the book. I reached down to pick it up, but a very luxuriant gown happened to flounce by just then, kicking up a draft. The bookmark zipped out of my grasp and danced on the draft, landing a few feet away.

One minute I'd be flawlessly dodging practice attacks, the next I'd be a furry blur accidentally leaping over the sparring ring and landing headfirst in the instructor's prized begonia collection. Not. My. Finest. Moment. At first, the occasional mishap was kind of funny. Like the time I accidentally launched myself through the library window while trying to snag a dusty old book on ancient wolf lore. Epic entrance, sure. But explaining it to the librarian was a real pain.

He stretched onto his toes, trying to slide the heavy book into place. "It's just a little..." Further. His fingertips barely reached the shelf. "I almost—" The ladder shifted. Lucas's eyes widened. "Oh!" His foot slipped. Everything happened in an instant. The ladder tilted sideways. The thick book slid from his hands. Before he could hit the floor, a strong arm wrapped firmly around his waist. Another hand caught his wrist. The falling book landed with a loud thud. Silence filled the aisle. Lucas blinked. He wasn't falling anymore.

Ivy's POV I arrived right in time for the first lecture. It was a boring, long lecture and while other participants nodded their heads in understanding at times, I stared at the lecturer. In my ears, he was speaking a strange language that I had never heard in my life. I didn’t need to be told that I would struggle in business school.

He turned back towards the cupboard which was glowing. He opened the door. Between the clothes, something was shining as bright as a diamond.It was the book-- The antabulam. He picked it up and suddenly it lost all its brightness. He opened the book, the but he couldn't understand anything that was written "It isn't German either. Which language is this?" He said to himself. He felt dizzy as he looked at the book. "I should probably sleep" He said as he kept the book on the table beside him and fell on the bed.

I said to myself and went to a clear space where I can summon the book. After summoning the book, I prepared for it to appear in front of me and held both my hands under the spot. "Gawd!" I missed the book by a finger and it slipped through my hands. I held my left foot and winced in pain. It felt exactly like when you stub your toe on a corner of a table. I held it with my both hands and stood up to grab the heavy book on the ground. I sat down the bed and opened huge hard-bound book and skipped a lot of pages. I skimmed through the chapters where Yvonne appears and tried looking for anything important.
