The first review I read was from a literary publication that described the book as unflinching and specific and written with the particular authority of someone who had lived inside the thing she was describing rather than observing it from outside. The second review used the phrase inside view. Not from the methodology. From the book. Never have I been this jumpy. I drank the lukewarm latte again. The feed popped up and I clicked the first tab that opened. A cartoon caricature of the Devil appeared above the short article. I didn't find it very amusing as I tucked my hair behind my ears, then took a seat on my high stool and read. It contained mostly nonsense quotes and references but I was quick to highlight the points and I read with slow horror. I had just gotten why this book was so important and it wasn't good.

It wasn't as tense, we really were paying attention to our work. We'd look at each other once in a while but then back to work. She ordered lunch in and then we kept going. We were now down to five.. "I still think AUDACITY takes it for now.. it's on top three..." I said and she laughed, "then I vote MASTER OF MAGIC..." "What Valentia that book sucks balls..." She laughed, "not really.. he is funny, way way more than you.." "Why are you hating. He isn't funny at all."
