“Oh, nothing. Nathan had put some funny comments at the bottom of the report. That’s all.” He quirks his brow and gets up from his chair. “A funny comment, hmm. What is so funny about it?” I turn my focus back to my phone and another soft giggle spills from me. “Nothing. It is an inside joke.” “Inside joke?” His voice goes an octave lower as his footsteps get closer. “Yeah. You wouldn’t understand.” As I go to type a response to Nathan, my phone is yanked from my grasp. I look up and I’m met with his alluring blue eyes that have a spark of mischief and a hint of something else swirling around in them.

He said. I pulled from him and scoffed. “Zone said you needed everyone to find me within the hour.” I said. He sighed and rolled his eyes. “It’s an inside joke between us.” He said. “What’s the joke?” I asked. “It’s called an inside joke for a reason.” He said with so much sass. “I hate that Gilly is rubbing off on you.” I said then I sat on his lap and kissed his cheek. I was happy he has become friendlier to everyone. I love this side of him and I hope it doesn’t change.
