And while still holding back my laughter, I said, “That was so funny,” and then I burst into laughter again, making Raine shake her head while Caesar just stared at me. I know it’s wrong to laugh at other people’s embarrassing moments, but damn, that was so funny! Well, I guess Mara's karma arrived too soon for her rude actions against me. Karma sniffed hard through the cold breeze of the night. "Oh the smell of the blood with ecstasy", Kieran smirked at her before disappearing into thin air. Every person who had once had a clash or something to say about her personality and character was in the comment section. While some still defended her, the backlash was nothing compared to my puck bunny headline. "Honestly, V, you know nothing about this?" Amara asked again, looking up from her phone. "I don't, and why would I waste money promoting a scandal when my car has been at the mechanic for over a month?" I shot back, a little annoyed. "Good...well, karma is real." Amara chuckled. I continued eating while she read comments from her phone and made sarcastic jokes, and we laughed.

He asked, signaling the bartender. We found a small table near the bar, and soon enough, we were deep in conversation, the minutes flying by effortlessly. Liam had this way of making me feel at ease, like I could let my guard down without worrying about judgment.
