Asking each other's day and many stories that sometimes we even talked about our neighbors, friends and politics that is how we are eating. It is already normal to us. Sometimes debate happens when we talked about politics. We couldn't prohibit that because we have different beliefs and principles but at the end we just laughed at ourselves telling that the government doesn't even know we are.debating about some sort of politics. Sometimes, being with family and talking with them is a cure. Cure to stress, bottled emotions and many more.

No one cares that my personal life was being discussed like the cafeteria mystery meat. As much as I wanted to die right there of embarrassment, it was good to know they cared about me. It was kinda fun... sort of. But really, couldn't they have come up with another topic that didn't turn me into a tomato? Like maybe my fantastic idea of taking a spa day this weekend? That would've been awesome! Or if anyone was planning a fun party at the beach? That would've been fun! Until Cassie ruined it. Again!

Heather squealed. The rest of our time was spent decorating the cake and actually participating in girl talk. It was refreshing having a change of pace. We didn't discuss pack business, or training, fighting, or even sports and cars. We simply spoke about the mundane things people generally took for granted. It was those mundane things that helped distract one from their problems the most, especially when they desperately needed a break.

As the evening progressed, our discussions delved into lighter topics, sprinkled with laughter and playful banter. Time seemed to slip away too fast as we lost ourselves in the joy of each other’s company. The more we conversed, the more I discovered the depth of Meghan’s wit and intelligence. Her quick comebacks and clever remarks kept me on my toes, and I found it immensely rewarding to have her laughing at my jokes. We laughed about silly childhood memories, shared embarrassing moments from our past, and even debated the merits of our favorite movies and books. It was a delightful exchange of thoughts and perspectives, each conversation building upon the previous one.

I froze for a second, then laughed softly, pretending I didn’t know what he meant, pretending my mind hadn’t been looping it all day. “Maybe,” I said. “Just… normal things.” We talked then, and we really talked. Not about friends or work or routine, not the usual small updates, but about the random, silly things that had nothing to do with anyone else. a funny story about a patient who kept forgetting his appointment time. a song that had gotten stuck in my head and wouldn’t leave. The weird way, my cat refused to leave the living room, like she owned it.

I sat down quietly but everyone kept talking about prom and I was tired of listening to them. They were all making plans but I wasn't moved. The guys at my left kept making plans of how they'd snuggle some meth to the party and get high as fuck. They laughed at random topics and kept discussing how the prom would go. I don't want ro talk about some few that talked about wanting to get wasted when having sex. Do they they even think it's all about having orgy and getting random persons infected or pregnant normal?

“The question is, what’s our topic gonna be?” Amber laughed, sharing a knowing look with Melissa. “Oh, I don’t know, Jack. I’m sure Professor Raquel has some real gems lined up for us.” Melissa rolled her eyes playfully. “Knowing her, we’ll probably get something like ‘The Impact of Littering on Community Morale’ or ‘The Changing Social Norms of Bathroom Etiquette.’ You know, the really sexy topics.” As they joked, the professor began calling out the groups. Amber, Melissa, and Jack exchanged nervous glances. They were almost certain that they’d be in the same group, but there was always a chance that Professor Raquel might surprise them.

I spend the whole time laughing as Evan, and I reminisce about some comedy series we both like. By the time we decide to walk back to our table, my stomach hurts badly from laughing.
