I Sent My Coworker to Prison

I Sent My Coworker to Prison

The next day, I didn't go back to work. Instead, I hired the pack's legal counsel and had them send a formal demand letter. Less than thirty minutes after it was delivered, Evander called. "Mirabel, what is this supposed to mean? "The company was simply trying to let a coworker share in your family's joy, and now you're turning around and biting the hand that fed you?" I snorted. "Share in our joy? "You call breaking into Ronan's bedroom through a window, drugging him, and staging a fake assault good intentions?"

THE WEIGHT OF LOVING YOU

THE WEIGHT OF LOVING YOU

“I’m trying to juggle two proposals, three fake-urgent emails, and the fact that I might actually kill a man with a paperclip if he says ‘circle back’ one more time.” “Ah,” he nodded. “Corporate homicide. Totally valid. Let me know if you need help hiding the body.” I laughed. I shouldn’t have laughed. But it slipped out, bright and too loud, and I covered it with a cough like that would somehow rewind time. I don’t laugh at work. I don’t let my guard down at work. He just watched me, amusement dancing in his eyes. And God help me, I wanted to keep entertaining him. Somehow, we started talking about the guy in the meeting—the one who spoke in buzzwords and took himself way too seriously.

Beneath The Billionaire's Touch

Beneath The Billionaire's Touch

Lois successfully dragged me out of the house so she could go eat. There were a lot of meals in the freezer but she decided she wanted something from a restaurant What is that??? “So your new workplace, how is it?” I asked her as we entered our regular takeout restaurant. She sighed. “Honestly it's fun but my coworkers are crazy as hell,.they are such lazy beings they can't do anything for themselves!” She complained. Lois hated people that wouldn't work, she didn't say work your ass off till you drop dead like a fly, she only says work for the money you earn.

Cranberry Playlist

“Why?” “It’s because he’s saying that mental health is just make-believe.” “Well, that’s sad. Are you home?” “Yes. I just got here but I took an Uber even if the fare is unjust! I also pooped, by the way.” “HAHAHA! My funny man.” “Also, the folks from U.S., the ones we work with, were happy with my performance.” “Wow! What did they say?” “I’ll let you know when we see each other.”

Billionaire's Lost Girl

Billionaire's Lost Girl

I slipped on my panties hastily, shaking my shoulders as though shaking off that depressing day. In a bid to break the terse silence, I asked him, “What do you do for work?” He hummed, now sitting with his back against the headboard while using his toes to poke my bum. I swatted them away several times but he kept doing it, so I just gave them a rest. It was a turn-on as well. “Uh…I work at a Macdonald's shop downtown.” I raised a brow and his smirk grew, against his will. “You’re lying.”

My Father's Best Friend

My Father's Best Friend

“You don’t like cranberry sauce?” “No. It’s disgusting.” “All right, this confirms it. There must have been a mix-up in the hospital because you are definitely not my daughter.” Raven rolled her eyes. “Keep trying, Dad. Maybe one day you’ll come up with a joke that’s funny.” “People at work like my jokes.” I grinned. “You pay the people at work.” “Lanie likes my jokes.” “Yeah, I’m not going there.” She put a big forkful of food in her mouth and chewed away.

My Badboy Knight

My Badboy Knight

And I can't be less proud of her. The rest of our dinner time is filled with us eating together and my mum and I laughing at Cathy's hilarious jokes and stories, particularly at the story she told us of how she had to throw bagel bread at an annoying colleague of hers so that she can grab his attention to work. I really tried so hard not to picture the scenerio in my head, but I just could not stop myself from laughing at the imagination. Thank God I had already swallowed my food before then.

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

“Though I once tried cooking for my staff and nearly burned down the test kitchen. True story.” I laughed out loud. The joke was so simple, but the way he told it, with that playful sparkle in his eyes, actually made it funny. “You? Burning down a kitchen? I can’t picture it.” We kept talking as the food came. He answered every question patiently ... about his childhood, his craziest business deal, even what he does when he’s not working. He told another joke about getting lost in his own building on the first day as CEO, and I found myself laughing again, genuinely enjoying his company.

I haven’t read this book yet. I liked the plot but skeptical to start as this book is not completed. I added this to my library and when it’s complete I will read as I am having a bad experience with a book where writer is just dragging the story with chapters which are just few pages in length

I’ve added to my library but refuse to read any book that is not completed. Very frustrated with updated chapters and unfortunately a few books over 600 chapters still not ending and updated chapters were just fluff. Once this is completed, will gladly read.

A Joke That Went Too Far

A Joke That Went Too Far

"You have no idea–I was just joking around, but those disgusting guys went crazy asking me for your contact." The old me would have already been crying, asking her how she could do this to me, voice breaking. Not this me. My teeth clenched so hard they hurt. My whole body trembled with anger. I snatched the flyer out of her hand and slapped her across the face. Tara screamed, clutching her cheek in disbelief. "You hit me? I treat you like my best friend, and you can't even take a joke anymore?" Best friend? I let out a cold laugh.

In Love With My Bully

In Love With My Bully

I laughed at Lucas’s story as Cole kept handing me orange slices alternately as he ate them without even realizing it. My body involuntarily leaned on him as they continued exchanging more funny stories of their work. I smiled, feeling a sense of belonging. These were my people, sharing their lives and laughter with me.

I'm loving this one and can't wait to read more chapters. With Irresistiblyme you will always find an engaging story with the exact dose of each aspect that she wants to portray. So far this one has been sweet and fun, with the heat gradually increasing.

hi, very nice story, but I gotta ask is this just one story or there's a book 2 ,for different characters maybe?coz this doesn't seem like it's a story which can go upto more than 200 chapters, just wondering though...
