Across the chamber, a woman stepped forward. Cloaked in crimson. Barefoot. Marked in fire-etched sigils up her neck and across her wrists. She looked no older than thirty. But her eyes were ancient. “Who are you?” Racheal demanded. The woman smiled. “They call me Pyra. One of Veyrus’s first vessels.”

"I'm sorry for the outburst. Noah is like my own son. He is rude, cold, and hotheaded. He misbehaves too. Because we have spoiled him too much. But he is not weak. He is never afraid of anyone. If anything, what I had seen on the TV seemed dull in comparison to what went on in the Iridescence Pack. My eyes widened and my jaw became slack as I realized why this was called the Carnival Cerulean. Bundles of living flame were suspended in the air, casting their beautiful light on the Carnival below. The flames weren’t normal, flickering with orange and red light. They were a rich shade of blue, cerulean to be exact. Within those flames were different shades and colors, all stemming from the color blue. They crackled and snapped, sending cobalt embers into the air whenever something managed to catch itself in the flames.

Jacob had obviously drugged him pretty strongly but she had no idea what he’d used. The powerful guy sprawled on the floor probably couldn’t move. He’d have fought otherwise when Jacob had assaulted him. He lay meekly next to her but his eyes were lively and another growl tore from his slightly parted lips. She tried not to shiver from the sight of his sharp fangs.

"Let's just say I've made my share of enemies over the years. But I'm not afraid of them. I'll do whatever it takes to protect myself and my business." As they spoke, Miriam couldn't help but notice the prince's confidence. He seemed almost...smug. Like he knew something they didn't. "Prince Salim, can I ask you something?" Miriam said, her tone probing. "Of course," the prince replied. "Do you know anything about the graffiti left at the crime scenes?" Miriam asked. "The one that says 'I AM FURY'?" The prince's expression didn't change, but Miriam detected a flicker of something in his eyes. Interest? Recognition?

Gesturing to his body "This here is the full package and I don't intend to misuse it alright?" He laughed and Jason joined they put on the radio and nodded to the trendy hit "Gock am" by the upcoming artist Crayon when suddenly. The car tire screeched its bonnet crashing into a hard surface with a loud bang. Jason stepped on the brake fearfully. The smell of petrol and coal tar filled their nostrils they looked at each other in silence with the effect of the alcohol washing off immediately.
