Kyle drove them with his car while Mia texted Todd and told him to puck her bike from the college. RAVEN'S ABODE Scorpion blade. Kyle marveled at the bold writing on the top of the big building and spacious land. It was nothing near to a church, more like a fancy refugee camp but wilder. It was a beautiful sight to behold.

Bella agreed, looking around for some clues that might help them to get out of that Maze. Just then, both the woman heard some approaching footsteps. Nina thought that Amanda might have changed her mind and came to help them. But Bella stiffened. The footsteps are hard and they belong to men. By the sound of the footsteps, she guessed four men are coming their way. Including the maze guide and the guards that came from the palace, there should only be three men, not four. And the footsteps are measured, as if they know where to go and not at all hurried, like when someone is searching for the missing people.

Chase slid into the seat across from me, grinning like he’d just walked in on a good joke. "Yup," Mason nodded. "The legend herself." Chase chuckled. "The girl who made history." I laughed softly, shaking my head. This day just kept getting weirder. Then, just when I thought it couldn’t get more bizarre, another guy strolled up to our table. He was older-looking, maybe twenty, with a reddish Caesar cut and a smug grin. "Whose doll is this?" He asked, eyes sweeping over me before landing on Chase and Mason.

My stomach lurched violently. "Let's keep moving," I gritted out, turning away from the horrific sight and toward another archway on the far side of the courtyard. The maze punished us for our choice. We encountered a staircase that looped back on itself no matter which direction we climbed. A bridge that extended further the more we walked across it. A room filled with identical doors, each leading to a different point in the maze we'd already passed. At one point, we found Mara kneeling over Lissa's unconscious form near a patch of suspiciously red mushrooms.

Haley stepped out, slightly shaky, fully colored, and extremely angry. "I want damages." Ben whooped through the comm. The maze wall labeled CHAOTIC ANCHOR shattered. The Analyst's architecture flickered. Three functions reviewed. Three deviations sustained. Jack helped Haley steady herself. She swatted him weakly. "Do not make a thing of it." "Never." "Good. I looked amazing." "You did." Katherine hugged her. Haley froze, then hugged back hard. The maze ahead opened into a vast chamber filled with rotating code spirals.

A tunnel which they quietly began entering… All seventy-two of Fyre Cave’s caverns were interconnected by a hundred and eight burrows. Though each cavern—upon entry—would still be distinguishable, the second one looked back, they would quickly find themselves unable to differentiate between the caves. With that in mind, Gerald—despite his level of cultivation—soon found himself getting dizzy the further they proceeded into the caverns. Sensing Gerald’s confusion—and realizing that he hadn’t told the boy about the maze’s properties yet—, Walter immediately said in a serious tone, “Please refrain from looking around, Brother Gerald! You really don’t want to get enchanted by the maze’s illusion

“Only by running through the maze in the correct order can one avoid being attacked.” “That’s right,” Garfield agreed. “This is a maze game.” “But… this maze is changing all the time.” “What?” Garfield was taken aback. Tyr’s mouth corners were raised slightly at this point. “That old monster can’t get past the soldiers,” he said confidently.

"Follow me." He led me and nikau to a storage shed at the back of the compound, where we found a pile of old crates and barrels. "We can use these to create a distraction," Gale explained. "While the guards are distracted, we'll make a run for it." I nodded, and we quickly set to work. We stacked the crates high, making as much noise as possible to draw the attention of the guards. As soon as we heard them coming, we made a break for it, running as fast as we could through the open gate.

“On your mark, get set... enter!” Kit didn’t have time to think about anything else as she shot off into the maze as quick as she could go. She was wearing sensible shoes for once in her life. They were boots with a small heel on them which should help her if she encountered any mud, though she noted as soon as she entered the maze that the groundskeepers had done their best to dry out the ground within the walls of the labyrinth. She was running on a bed of wood chips. A sharp cedar odor hit her nostrils, and she hoped she didn’t start to sneeze. There was a chance she may need to hide at some point, and sneezing wouldn’t do.

~DAISY~ The more I got closer to the office, the frequent my heart raced. Why is doc frank looking for me huh? He could have given Bryan the message if it was not something personal. Am I in some sort of trouble I don't know about? Did Tala say anything to him about me? Some many questioned crossed my mind. I wiped the little bead of sweat on my forehead as I marched towards his office. Boldly written with a tag on the door which says "Doc Frank"
