CHAPTER 125 ~3RD PERSON’S POV~ Anaya, Derren, and his warrior wolves rushed across each passage, bursting through the large metal walls and cutting straight through the maze. They had run for a while, but the center was still a little far in. The maze was a complicated series of turns that went from sharp turns to curves. “How far is the center supposed to be?” Anaya asked. “Not sure, but we should be there in a few minutes,” Derren replied.

Would they? “And yes, watch your steps and body parts of Wolfsbane.” Mr. Hale added at the last before blowing a loud horn to mark the onset of the round. Gianna occupied her set track and barged into the maze instantly. “She was fast.” I heard Noah mutter. My lips curved up. She had to. All the students kept hustling inside the maze protecting their bodies from Wolfsbane, but it wasn’t that easy. Was it?

Keeping her senses alert, she looked around for any sign of a wolf, and when she saw none, she decided to take the next big run. The distance between where she stood and the place she needed to run to, was a few miles away, and to get there, she had to be fast. Two minutes max, and the guard on the night shift would be replaced. Irish ran as fast as her legs could carry her as her wavy hair swept back in the direction of the wind. Her heartbeat increased as she ran with legs that almost touched the back of her head but she was past caring. On getting there, there was only one more leap left for her, and she would escape the mansion.
