Ghost Boyfriend Novels & Stories

（William’view） After leaving Chicago, I went back to the only life I truly knew. The life of a mercenary. Five years of comfort hadn't dulled my instincts. It was like a blade that had been kept in its sheath—once drawn, it was sharper than ever. I wasn't William Windemere anymore. I was 'Ghost' Noah, the king of mercenaries who called the shots in the black market. I reveled in it. The adrenaline of calculating trajectories in a firefight, the steady rhythm of my own heartbeat on a stealth op. This was the real me. A man who lived on the edge of a knife.

"No, thanks. I'm sure he's a great guy but I'm not ready for a relationship right now." For the past three years, I moved on from Irah and dated guys after a year. I don't know if I had such terrible luck in men, but the three men, including Josh, the one I recently dated, just ghosted me. They will break up with me through text and disappear. At twenty-one, I am still a vīrgin because they did not stay long enough for me to create a connection with them and surrender myself to them.

Brandon has appeared out of nowhere; he’s standing just behind Gideon with Low and he’s watching me like I’m some kind of fascinating show. “Ghost has no pups, no mate and his momma has two other sons. He’s also not interested in you in the slightest other than your skills at killing; you need backup, and he’s who you get.” Brandon says as he crosses his arms over his chest. Gideon nods along with what he’s saying so I know I don’t have room to argue.

I shake my head. “I don’t know.” He still looks shocked. “I can’t believe they would actually cheat on us. Especially not with each other. Would they? That’s still considered cheating, isn’t it?” “What do we do?” “Go in there and ask to join them, bonehead.” Ghost urges. “Bro, I’m half a second from blocking you.” I warn him. “You wanna figure out how to deal with the imaginary exploding bombs and mouth full of blood by yourself?” “You’re turning into a fucking buzzkill like Saint and Bronx.” He gets a last word in and lays down to pout.

She had handed them over as a gift to the man she was actually engaged to. I couldn't listen anymore. My steps faltered as I stumbled into the restroom. Just then, my phone buzzed. It was a message from Henry. [Chris, when are you coming back? My fiancee stopped by and left. Otherwise, I really would have loved to introduce you two.] I stared at my reflection. My face was pale. I splashed cold water on myself, trying to clear my head. Slowly, I walked back out. Henry was humming to himself. When he saw me, he looked me straight in the eyes with a knowing smirk.

I asked her as I took a sip out of my gin cocktail. “No and I am sure you are Gideon Patton” she laughed, she took her hand away from me. “Yeah…” I stared down at my phone again, the woman leaned on the counter and my gaze fell on her. Then to her exposed cleavage, if I wasn't in a fake relationship. She is the type of woman I do hook up with. “Is your girlfriend with you?” She asked, my eyes snapped to her face. “No, she is not” I answered her,

Then the rider lifted both hands. Not in surrender. With caution. Like someone approaching a wounded animal. Their voice came out distorted through a modulator. “Ghost,” they said softly. Everything inside me stilled. Only three people ever called me that. One was dead—Saint. One should’ve been dead—Shade. And the third… The third was an ally long buried in the dark. A ghost from my old life. The rider reached up and slowly—very slowly—removed their helmet. My breath caught.

“What? Is that your way of asking if a guy approached me or not?” “Obviously. Girl, you are so damn gorgeous. There is no way in hell that not even one dude noticed you.” “Look, nothing happened okay? I just stayed in my room most of the time. So, there was no bird….” “Fly.” She interrupted. “Fly perching on any porch, okay?” I usually would tell her the truth. But he was not someone that was worth talking about. He was that one part my trip I wish never happened. “We both know that’s a lie. I remember you telling me last time that you met someone but you didn’t get to tell me who it was.”

felt sorry for him, and then whispered to himself."Who is he going to bid for now?" he pouted as he pranced to them and wrapped his hands around his waist, resting his head on the back. “I am happy for you; your relationship is still strong after all those years." he envied them He insisted on telling them how he justly missed them, it had been long since they last saw each other. He remembered they last met at their graduation. he toasted them on their success in life. he told them he did not need an official presentation. “I still trust you guys, despite all, I do believe in your honesty.” He paused and starred at them.
