A loud gasp escaped my lips when I saw it. It was a ghost. A teenage girl who looked no older than fifteen. She had wavy blonde hair and dull green eyes. There was a horrible wound on her chest. Someone had ripped her heart out of her chest. Now, her chest was more or less, a gaping hole. Tears pricked my eyes at the sight of the girl. I'm a necromancer and it's normal for me to be able to see ghosts and spirits but it's been quite a while since I saw one.

“When you do your thing what’s stopping the building from crushing you?” I looked at him past my shaking arms and huffed, “Guess it’s a good time to ask which of you is the fastest runner?” Caius looked at Ghost. “You can turn her incorporeal.” “I can’t do shit,” Ghost scoffed. He had removed his shirt awhile ago and was using it to mop the sweat off his body. “Don’t look at me like that, man. You know I’ve never turned anyone before. If I fail then we both die.”

"They aren't frozen soldiers. They’re data-ghosts with physical weight." One of the ghosts stepped out of the light. It moved with a terrifying, unnatural speed, its hand extending into a jagged blade of hard-light. It didn't scream. It just hissed—the sound of a thousand deleted files. Kaelor didn't hesitate. He dived under the ghost’s strike, his knife finding the creature’s throat. There was no blood. Just a spray of blue sparks and the smell of burning plastic. The ghost didn't die; it just flickered, its wound knitting back together instantly.

Arriving there, the surroundings were dark as it looked like construction had not yet begun in that area. Cael looked at Kyra as she grabbed him in his hand. Kyra’s nail almost sank into Cael’s skin. Standing next to Kyra was a ghost woman with no eyes, with tears of blood and her lips pressed to her ear and whispering. ‘Help her.’ Kyra closes her eyes and her whole body trembles. That ghost was weird, so she was very close to Cael. Kyra didn’t look back, but she nodded at the female ghost. “Kyra, what happened?” Cael asked.

They were midway across the path, in front of a cemetery when suddenly graves started opening. "What is going on?" Isabella asked, clutching onto Chris tightly. Chris was suddenly sweating so furiously but Ariel was cool and her face was blank and devoid of any emotions. They stood there watching six tombs open and six scary-looking ghosts walked out. Isabella was already whitish in appearance knowing who they are. Chris's hairs were all up and his eyes green, his normal sight nature. "GREETINGS TO THE SPECIAL ONE." One of them muttered. "GREETINGS TO THE LITTLE GODDESS." Another muttered.

I call ghost, he got more than one skill, and opening closed-door virtual and real ones are one of his many skills. He uses his key locks tools and messes with the door for a bit until it opens. Finally, I walk down with ghost behind me, I find a small girl laying naked on the floor. She's thin, too thin, her blond hair match mine only hers is dirty and matted on her head. Her blue eyes are hardly open, I can see bruises all over her fragile body. Taking off my shirt I cover her quickly and pick her up leaving this hell behind. "You're safe now baby sister" I whisper in her ears she closes her eyes letting darkness take her.

"All this nonsense is getting into my head. What's with the crap you can't cut to the chase? Just leave. Leave me and my family alone." This time, I didn't let anyone stop me from going inside my safe place. It was Hyeri's room. As I sat down on her bed, I felt her presence. Are ghosts real? "Beshy..." Kate came. My tears finally burst. She was with Cygnus and Harry. "I never thought this would happen," said Harry, looking away. He was crying, I know because of his cracking voice. "My baby girl is gone," I murmured. She nodded and caressed my back. "It's so... unexplainable."

"Oh, she's still bluffing. Fine. If she's really dead, then call the priest for a ritual. Toss her corpse into the sea and let her see where playing dead gets her." His cruelty sickened me. I desperately sought to elevate my soul, to distance myself from him. However, an unseen tether held me fast, dragging me inexorably back. And then I realized—the force binding me wasn't Connor himself, but the wolf-spirit bracelet he wore. The bracelet, woven from wolf bone and silver thread, was an ancient relic of my father. More than that, it was the token of love I had once given Connor. I used to be like Cinderella, that pitiful girl.

A figure stood silhouetted in the doorway, backlit by bright sunlight. As my eyes adjusted, I felt the blood drain from my face. My jaw dropped in shock and horror as I recognized the person standing before me. Mrs. Grey! "Hello, Ms. Clark," she said, her voice cold and sharp as steel. "I think it's time we had a little chat." .
