Then I would say that there are no ghosts and I do not believe in ghosts." Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that.

The fifth is a mix of colors—brown and white and a streak of something darker along its spine. The sixth is the smallest of the healthy ones, a pale cream color that catches the morning light. She freely spends her money on her dog and whatever new boy toy she picks up for the evening because she has no children. Mrs. Morales is the only one in the condo who does not have a purse dog, such as a miniature poodle or a yappy Maltese. Trixie, her giant German shepherd, had to be hers. Trixie, she swears, is just a puppy, but the size and heft of the bulldozer-like pet indicate otherwise.

I walked towards her when Ghost appeared from nowhere between us growling at me and howling endlessly. "Hi buddy," I ran my fingers through his soft shiny black fur. I had never had the opportunity to feel his fur myself. 'Go back,' he growled and spoke in my head but I struggled to comprehend his meaning. He launched at me and placed his huge paw on my throat restricting my airflow until I could no longer breathe. Was this psycho beast trying to get me killed or what? I choked and tried to struggle with him but he was a thousand times stronger and bigger. He tightened his grip until I was certain that if I remained here he was going to draw my blood like he did everyone else.

Then he walked on four paws, giving a view of himself. He was a pretty wolf, his height a bit huge than the rest of them, he was beautiful fur all around his body. His colour was greyish black and a hint of white. She noticed the scar below his right eye, maybe it was from a fight. She adjusted herself to make him see her proper view. His eyes moved to focus on her growing belly. It was so heartwarming to see her glowing in a whole different way. Pidge was looking mature and her cheeks were filled up, she looked a little chubby.

But we kept on watching. Our eyes ran around the little pup's body while examining the body features. It had a small body with winter-white fur. But around the neck and back, purple fur was highlighted within the white coat. It had its two ears raised straight and its tail wagging as it yapped after the butterfly. 'Strange.' I muttered. 'What is?' Blue asked. 'That thing doesn't have a scent.' I pointed out. Blue was silent for a while as he kept a few steps toward the pup. Blue and I shared the same thought. That pup wasn't anyone from the Blue Crystal Pack as we tried to scent it. What was more alarming was how it DIDN'T have a scent!

While snacking on her lunch, Maria paid attention to the words her grandfather was saying. "Phantom beats are sinister and vile creatures that feed on human flesh and fears. They are extremely dangerous and are twice as hard to take down compared to regular magical beasts. Luckily, you'll never have to encounter such creatures, since beast-types outnumber phantom-type creatures. But if you ever encounter one... run." The heavy, intense gaze of her grandfather caused a cold chill to sweep over Maria's body.

‘Err, Hi General, er sorry to disturb you both, it's just, well, my friends and I were wondering’ Jack smiled encouragingly, ‘You want to know about the dogs?’ The young man sat down his face alight with interest, ‘So they are dogs?’ He asked and I turned my bright blue eyes to him and stood up shaking out my thick silky fur, ‘They are Wolf/Dogs, hybrids, half Wolf half German Shepherd, bred for their immense strength and incredible intelligence, I knew what was coming Jack loved to show off. ‘Would you guys like a demonstration? It would do them good to stretch their legs’

"Everyone in back, move it! The higher-ups are breathing down our necks again." All the Phantom Patrols wore boring suits and had completely forgettable faces. Blanc and Noir stood out though. They kept taking a step forward, then glancing back at her nervously. Some Phantom Patrol they knew walked over. "How come you only brought one today? Are you still dealing with that York family mess?" He pulled out what looked like a Ghost Candle and offered it to Blanc. Both of them sniffed it hard—that was how dead people socialized down here, and it's called soul communion. They were pretty much like cigarettes for living people, but way more potent.
