The Purrfect Love Story

The Purrfect Love Story

Lou barked, voice echoing across the bay. “Yeah, Cap?” I called, already sighing. “Your menace is loose again.” I set the hose down and whistled low. The little orange devil came prancing toward me, stripes gleaming in the light, tail flicking like he was proud of himself. Goose wasn’t even supposed to be here full-time, but the station had adopted him along with me. Dez dropped to one knee, trying to scoop him up, but Goose darted right past and leapt into my arms like he owned me. Which, if I was being honest, he did.

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Size: head-torso length from 103 to 132 centimeters (with tail 160 to 190 centimeters), withers from 70 to 90 centimeters. Weight: 81 kg to 103 kg Color and appearance: black, white, striped, and all shades of gray in between. The physique is similar to that of a German Shepherd Dog. In addition to the dark-striped head, the small goatee, and the longer fur, the lion-like mane, which is wind-cut backwards, is the most striking feature of the Iuba. It has a very long tail (corresponding to the length of its body) in order to be able to keep its balance when climbing. Long ears that easily sink into the mane.

Powerless Against His Feisty Wife

Powerless Against His Feisty Wife

Then, she walked toward the house with a gentle expression. Scampering out joyfully, Sixteen dashed to her. It wagged its tail and stood on its hind legs excitedly. "Woof! Woof!" Sixteen was now several months old, but it was already very tall. It was about three feet tall when it stood on its hind legs. Being a purebred shepherd dog, it was muscular and handsome. Belle scratched Sixteen's head. "I found a pet store when I went shopping today. I bought you so many canned treats and toys. I'll get Sam to give them to you in a while!"

It was one of my favorite books to read in this app, unfortunately the author left the plot hanging. This is a book that deserves to be continued, maybe a second book. The author is very creative with the plot, I just want more and I’m willing to continue my subscription. Please

love this girl Belle!! ... no dull moments with her ...... 've always wanted a protagonist who isn't a pushover and who speaks their mind, i mean why do they always have to be trampled up on right? just hope that this novel isn't one of those same old same old abused or s* assaulted females

The Lovely Ones

The Lovely Ones

I start petting Louise while he holds her, but she’s wiggling too much and Darren has to set her down. I sit on the floor and she’s in my lap instantly, kissing my face and asking for love. I start laughing when she flips over for me to rub her belly and ask Darren what breed she is. He shrugs as if to say he doesn’t know, but her thick curly hair suggested some kind of poodle, but it was clear she was only a puppy.

Mr. Regnante

Mr. Regnante

Yapping and jumping as they tried to get to the children. Rosalie felt safe knowing that these dogs were all locked up and couldn't harm her. If only she had known there was a dog that wasn't locked inside. She held her breath as she watched a Doberman Pinscher approach her. It's black fur glinting in the sunlight with its cropped ears and tail it almost reached her knee. It sniffed the area around Rosalie's feet, deeming her to mean no harm before he turned away from her as if though she didn't interest him enough.

The Curse of the Seasons

The Curse of the Seasons

I pulled out the burner phone I'd picked up on the way back from the orphanage and dialled a number. “Happy Hound dog parlour, how can I be of service?” The familiar voice exuded sunshine. “Good day. I have a xoloitzcuintli, have you had any experience with this breed? I'd like the traditional breed specific haircut and I'm struggling to find a parlour for him,” I said, trying to change my voice as much as possible. There was silence on the other side of the line, well almost silence. I could still hear the sound of a hairdryer in the background.

Man's Best Wingman

Man's Best Wingman

They mostly look like a Leonberger regarding their coloring and fur texture but are Corgi size. Zeus happily greeted his sons before my dad scooped them up. Dad may be old, but he’s in shape and grunted at picking up Tootles. Tootles was always the heavier of the puppies, and living a relatively sedentary life of leisure with my parents hasn’t helped that. Dad sighed as he tried to keep the wiggling dogs under his arms. “Everything okay, son?” Dad asked. “Kev mentioned your m...” He paused when I glared at him. “That your grandfather’s daughter tried to crash.”

This is just the cutest story! It’s not your typical romance novel but that’s the magic of it! It’s cute, sincere, and honest. I could see this actually being someone’s real story of how they met their person and love it. Plus the dogs point of view are simply the best! This is a must read!

CHILDREN OF GODS

CHILDREN OF GODS

The dog, if you could even call it that, was enormous. Cerberos had a wide and stout body like that of a pit bull’s, except this body stood at least ten feet tall. The three, fear-invoking heads, rose a few feet higher. Its skin was completely hairless, the dark, leather-like material stretched taut over sinew, muscle, and bone. Teeth as long and sharp as daggers emerged as each of the heads pulled back its ugly black lips in a show of hatred. Each head reminded James of a decomposing Doberman; ears flat back in agitation, black pits for eyes. The middle head barked a low bass-filled roar.

Collide In Plain Sight

My mouth drops and I look from the dogs to him. "You're not serious." I say, but he just nods. "Of course. I'm not sure how Goosey boy would feel about a puppy, but this is a big house, I'm sure he'd adapt. These ones here are Newfies." he says, pointing to a few smushy, fluffy, adorable faces. "And these ones are Bernese Mountain pups. I know you didn't say them in particular, I just feel like you would enjoy their temperament." he says. I look from the dogs back up to him, then back down to the dogs.

(Not) His Sugar Baby

(Not) His Sugar Baby

One day after Theo regained consciousness, Rose finally decided to return to her home, the place where she once lived alone next to her small restaurant. At the moment there wasn't much for Rose to do other than prepare to meet Theo at the hospital. Rose immediately drove her father's borrowed car. On the back passenger seat she placed a medium-sized box with several holes in it that was wrapped very beautifully. While beside her sat a cute little dog with curly hair and white color like cotton. Yesterday Rose had just bought the poodle breed at the pet shop. Intrigued. That was all that drew Rose's desire to bring home the poodle named Cocomelo.

Frequently Asked Questions

My niece absolutely devoured the 'Goosebumps' series last summer, and it sparked some fascinating conversations between us. At first, I was worried the spooky themes might be too much for her (she's 9), but she loved the mix of mild horror and humor. The books never feel truly terrifying—more like riding a roller coaster where you scream but laugh afterward. R.L. Stine has this knack for balancing creepy scenarios with silly twists, like a haunted camera that prints pictures of your future self... but with goofy outcomes.

That said, every kid's tolerance for scares is different. My nephew, who's the same age, had to take breaks between chapters during 'Night of the Living Dummy' because Slappy freaked him out. But even he admits the stories feel 'safe scary'—like watching shadows dance on your wall. The chapters are short, the language is accessible, and the endings usually wrap up neatly without lingering nightmares. If your child enjoys campfire stories or shows like 'Gravity Falls,' they'll probably adore these books.
