The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

Suddenly, Adrian realized that these individuals indeed harbored ulterior motives. Adrian expanded his awareness, and the sight before him left him speechless. The entire hall was now teeming with an array of ghosts and monsters. Among them were towering old men with only one eye, lanterns swaying on a single leg, malformed boys with just one limb each, women clad in white exuding a bone-chilling aura, and skeletal figures draped in human skin...

Didn't Want Me Before, Can't Have Me Now

Didn't Want Me Before, Can't Have Me Now

Memories of the chilling night she spent guarding the family mausoleum flooded back, rendering her unable to sleep without lights until now. Just as she contemplated seeking help, the lights flickered back to life. But her moment of relief was fleeting. Just as she stood clad in nothing but her undergarments, the lights dimmed once more, accompanied by eerie wails reminiscent of that ominous night. Clara knew this was no mere coincidence; someone was behind it. Summoning her courage, she hastily dressed, intent on fleeing the room. Yet before she could act, a ghostly figure materialized at the window. Its headless form dripped with blood, lunging toward her with a chilling cry for her life.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

But few knew he harbored a secret capable of upending the entire arcane world. A burning candle stood before him. Yet the scent it released was strange—eerily similar to the Ghost Candles found in Willowstead. Spirits were drawn to the scent of Ghost Candles. When unable to feed on living souls, they relied on this incense to remain aware. Without it, they would drift into believing they were dead. It was no longer clear whether Sylas was a man or a ghost. He sniffed the candle's fragrance hungrily, as if his very life depended on it.

A
I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

"Yieeeeee yeah you don’t like him because he’s arrogant, he’s muscular, he has a pointed nose, he’s tall, and his lips looked so sweet. Yes Alaister you don't like him!" and with that she threw me a pillow Hahahaha. We talked about music and other kinds of stuff until Aunt Ana came with our food so we ate first. "Alaister do you believe in ghosts?" I asked Alaister, now that she was lying down in our bed. "Did you watch a horror movie last night? Then I would say that there are no ghosts and I do not believe in ghosts." Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that.

The Ghosts of Greenville

The Ghosts of Greenville

She said, but the case was crystal clear. "No, am serious about this Henry needs your help." "Thats a lie." "No its true." "I believe her, she's telling the truth. That ghost still hasn't crossed over to the other side in almost three hundred years." Charles second said. "I agree. We must leave for Greenville." Another says. Melanie also agreed to know more. "The Star Gazers has tracked down a couple of ghosts and found them heading to the west. Normally I wouldn't suspect them, but none has crossed over to the other side and to top it all, Zonal Coordinators has gone missing."

“Because if it fails…” “Everyone loses,” Puc finished. He turned back to his team. “Final sweep.” The ghosts moved faster now, diving into Veil-lanes, skimming the edges of reality, testing every approach vector. One ghost paused, head tilting. “Something’s wrong,” it said. Althea’s eyes snapped open. “What kind of wrong?” “Not hostile,” the ghost replied. “Just… crowded.” Puc frowned. “Explain.” “Veil traffic,” the ghost said. “Farther out. Small groups. Seven at a time.”

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Silas whispered to the empty room. He lay back, the cold stone against his skin, and listened to the distant, rhythmic thrumming of the Shadow Claws setting up their new empire. He was the Ghost of the North Tower, a man who had everything to say and no one who wanted to listen.

Haunted by My Shadow

Haunted by My Shadow

I slowly revealed the answer to Shadow: "Celeste installed surveillance in the dorm. Every move you make is under her watch. She didn't even tell me about it. I had no idea, and naturally, you wouldn't either. You tried to fool me, but here's the truth: As soon as you left, Celeste woke me up. She never went home. Guess what we were doing?" I could hear Shadow's breathing grow frantic. I took my time with the final blow. "I've always believed that the way to get rid of you is by preventing you from returning to my body. Holding you down and not letting you return to my body doesn't work, so we're trying a second method. What if you can't find me? Celeste and I aren't in the dorm anymore." Th

My Substitute Boyfriend is a Werewolf

My Substitute Boyfriend is a Werewolf

The wind whooshed through the blackened trees, and I thought I could hear whispers within them. "So what comes now? Now that all these dimensions and realms have fractures in them, what can we expect now?" I dared to ask and Thorne shook his head. "Anything. The craziest of things, Kylie. Ghosts? Spirits? You name them . The moment they spot those fractures-if they haven't already.. They'll start to break through. And guess what realm they would love to have a party at?" Thorne asked, his voice ominous." "ours." I whispered.

Universe I know you have given me a good job and other benefits as toppings but can you also give me a cool boss, I would even accept a flirty boss, please not an annoying one. “Miss Mia we are here” “Thank you, sir,” I said as I got down from the car. As I approached the house, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the majestic building. The mansion had an imposing entrance that was furnished with a rare design. The front garden, the water fountain, the circular driveway, and the massive custom garage screamed luxury. Entering into the house, I felt a blend of humility and curiosity, as the warm glow of the chandeliers filled the hallway, the Persian rugs embellished the marble floor and the
