He shut his eyes tight and clenched his fist tightly in horror. The dream filled his head. What he could see was those dark shadows disappearing and the white angel flying away with Dae. He flicked opened his eyes. The vehicle reached a crypt and suddenly one of the hitchhiking ghosts hopped into the vehicle and people screamed at the top of their lungs. Soon the ghost disappeared. Aroon was now shivering and sweating uncontrollably and Oak noticed it.

“It’s data.” Kira was shouting something behind me, but her voice drowned beneath the roar. The ghosts were closing in. Their light bent the air around them, and for a moment I saw their faces — distorted reflections of myself. I slammed the brakes. The truck skidded sideways, stopping inches from the edge of a ravine. I stumbled out, the hum inside my chest now deafening. Lena screamed my name, but I barely heard it. The nearest ghost reached out. Its fingers dissolved into code, curling toward me like strands of light. I raised my hand instinctively, and when we touched, the world went silent.

Her heart pounded in her chest, fueling her determination to survive the terrifying encounters that lay ahead. Amidst the tangled branches and whispering leaves, Erica caught glimpses of ghostly figures drifting through the mist. We need to investigate." They followed the disturbance deeper into the forest, their senses alert. As they approached a clearing, they saw a figure standing in the center, surrounded by a shimmering aura of dark energy. Marinetta and Harley approached cautiously, their hands on their weapons. The figure turned to face them, revealing a gaunt, spectral appearance. It was a ghostly apparition, its eyes filled with a haunting sadness.

I hissed. “That looks like a painful memory” A strange voice said, I turned around and saw A unfamiliar man with pure silver hair, the same color as Logans but not as long and not as pretty. Memory? My eyes scouted this strangers face, he must have been in his late thirties, early forties “Who in the hell are you?” “Just a ghost” “What do you want, Ghost?” I sneered. “I’m busy Looking for someone” “You’re not going to find him here in the in-between pup”

Lucas had been gone for hours, leaving me to the not so careful ministrations of Magda. The wart nosed witch who I had clobbered over the head with a candlestick. She was hunched forwards with a permanent hunchback and cloudy milky white eyes signalling that her eyesight was diminished with cataracts. She almost looked like she had taken a step out of a Greek mythology book and was actually one of the fabled grey sisters, who determined all living creatures fate. Perhaps she was, all myths derived from elements of truth. Any second now she was going to pull out a pair of rusty old scissors and cut my life cord into two. I held back a giggle at the thought.
