"Violet! I know you're here! Hallie just wanted to see the violets in your garden. Why is the gate locked?" He looked up and stopped. "Where are the violets?" Looking at the empty garden, Camilo looked confused. "Did you really dig up the violets we planted and took care of together? You said that once they bloomed, we would enjoy them together, make syrup, and take out their smell..."

Clapping twice and placing the yellow flower on the slate, Zen prayed that the dungeons would bless her virtual soul. Finding the most bitter and spiteful sister was easy. Zen had the sunflower ready for the sister, who wrote, “The only reason you were chosen was because your man left you…” on her epitaph. Zen might not know Veiled Violet or her sisters. However, they did not give off the most harmonious vibes. Even when dead, there wasn’t a lot of peace. Only the rose and violet were left in the flower bed. Here, Zen hesitated. “All mushrooms are fungi… All fungi are mushrooms… The rose is true, and the violet is not blue…?”

Violet began to synthesize the words that Marys spoke and she looked at Marys and Aiyana who nodded like they understood what her facial expressions meant. “The bond you speak of. It is the bond between Scarlet and I, isn’t it?” They nodded in agreement. “And this room, it belongs to her, isn’t it?” She added and they nodded again. Her shoulders dropped and she looked at the door once again.

I didn’t see such fine daggers before; the blade looked so sharp that a single jab could easily cut the bone of anyone. With a contented smile, I answered, “Of course, I can. Will I need them in the ball?” Violet answered briefly, “Yes if needed but your main duty will be a perfect cover for Young Master.” “Cover? What do I have to do?” I asked in a puzzled tone when Violet passed me a ring with a blue gem in the middle. She explained while rotating that gem in a particular pattern, “There is the antidote for aphroditic, Maybe, you have to try some drugs as Young Master and you will join the party as their customers. Remember, you will be his sex slave and I hope that you know-”

His small body curled softly against me, warm and trusting, and I pressed my cheek lightly to the top of his head. Across the courtyard, Violet abandoned her conversation and made her way to the trays again. Her steps lost their earlier confidence. She looked over each bottle, her breath growing uneven as she searched for the one she had planted. She found it in the wrong position and froze. She whispered something under her breath, then lifted it too quickly, like she expected it to disappear from her hand.

On the underside of her forearm, pale against her skin, was a mark. It was faint, almost translucent, but unmistakable: a crescent moon, curved and delicate, glowing faintly as though lit from beneath her flesh. Evelyn stumbled back from the mirror, clutching her wrist. The mark pulsed once, in rhythm with her heartbeat, before fading to nothing more than a faint silver shimmer. Her throat went dry.

Gildeon adjusted his glasses, nodded, and gave them a courteous smile. The silence that followed after they were left alone was almost suffocating. Arah wiped her hands and pushed stray blue curls out of her eyes as she met Gildeon halfway. “Why are you here?” She bit the inside of her lip, not meaning for that question to sound unfriendly. He didn’t seem to mind, though, and revealed what was behind his back—a bouquet of exotic-looking violet flowers with cloud-shaped petals. A gasp slipped past her lips, and she snapped her gaze up at him. His reptilian eyes glinted behind his glasses.

He hammers me in the side again, but I close my eyes and bear it. “It’s okay, Gemini!” Blossom shouts. “Let him go…” I growl, then limp back, stumbling as I take a few steps back. Violet comes flying into view, her hand wound up as she throws her entire weight into her fist and hammers Elliot in the face. He crumbles to the side, looking up at her, his eyes wild yet full of sorrow. “I, Violet Evergreen, reject you Elliot. A dirty, mangy rogue.” She screams, blood drips down her face, her body shaking violently as she clutches her fists. “One unworthy of breathing.”

That was one of the most insane ideas she had ever heard. When Morgana was in front of her, Violet stared into her eyes, and only then she realized the purple iris was really bright, like it was shining. "Let's see how long you can take it." Morgana said and waved her hand, and Violet felt her body whirr and bump against the table. The vases and books above it fell on the floor. A few candles were blown out when Violet flew above them. "Are you really going to mess all your office just to provoke me?" Violet said with a teasing smile.
