Each flower and leaf were adorned with glass beads, faint yellow, light green, or pale pink, subtly hidden within the blossoms, not easily noticeable but capable of making the flowers seem to radiate.

I looked into the lens, imagining Massimo’s eyes on the other side. "Himalayan lilies," I said, my voice smooth and chillingly calm. "A flower that symbolizes purity.
