There are a lot of rumours surrounding the secrecy of their younger years but the most agreed upon was that it was for their own safety. Our story truly begins on the sixteenth birthday of the Le Minuit twin’s birthday. The book was without a doubt the strangest thing I had ever read. The first ten chapters had been written like a textbook, detailing facts and supposition, quoting references and other supporting materials. Then at chapter 11 it started to read like a novel, a bedtime story of two girls that were forced into a position of power before they were ready, only to discover that they wielded power even they did not fully comprehend.

I kept my foot falls light, scanning shelves, walk ways and alcoves as I passed, pointing the beam of my flash light into every space as I passed. I was nearing the end of the room when I started to relax slightly, still on edge but at least my heart wasn't beating in my throat now. I took a deep breath as I scanned the bare wall at the end of the room. All clear. My shoulders relaxed and I clenched my shaking fists once to steady them, shaking my head at my own silliness. There was nothing here. A shuffling sound behind me had me whirling around in a panic and I almost swore out loud. Dead.

And this is how the last story about Light and Darkness that I wanted to present to you ends. It was certainly an extraordinary journey, showing different stories, but at the same time touching the same topic - can two such opposing poles as Light and Darkness connect at some point? I'll leave it to your own choice, but one thing is for sure - as Miyuki said in Book 4, wanting to stop the battle between vampires and wizards - Light and Darkness certainly couldn't exist without each other. If there was only Light but no Darkness, what would be its meaning? Likewise, if there was only Darkness in the world, wouldn't its existence be pointless without trying to "devour" the Light?

The funniest thing happens today. I get to meet miss glitter. Remember? the red head who left a glittery love letter in Kyle's locker. A wide grin sprawls on my face as i walk up to the petit girl in the corner of the library with her nose buried in a book. "hey " she doesn't respond. She just keeps reading, her eyes scanning the page like a computer server. I doubt she even notices me standing in front of her. I try again to mind link him with no answer. I hear footsteps down the hall coming towards my door. I quickly stand as tall as possible, which is hard because I am so tired and my legs barely hold me up anymore. I have to though; I refuse to show him any sign of weakness. Possessive but gentle. As they walked inside, her eyes took in the luxurious surroundings. Crystal chandeliers glowed from above, intricate carpets adorned the floor, and opulent furniture filled every corner. The high-end hotel was draped in a soft, dim light, illuminating a table for two next to a huge glass window. The dinner table was spread with a white cloth and the cutlery was a silver alloy. Two wine glasses were placed in the middle of the table right next to the candle. And as he said, there wasn't another soul in sight. It's just the two of them.

Flavius Darkness clouds my vision as we walk further into the cave. My foot catches on a piece of jagged stone protruding from the cavern floor, and I stumble forward. Ellie grabs me by the hand, pulling me up straight again, and we continue on our path. A dim glow begins to invade the dark cave. I quickly shield my eyes from the unexpected light. "It has been a while, Eleonora," a soft angelic voice calls out.
