My stomach was sloshing and my vision was blurry. I blinked twice, adjusting my eyes to the dark; the only light was from a low-hanging bulb,

"Khloe, are you insane?!" "You're the insane one, Liam! I hate you!" Tears welled in my eyes as I glared at him. He opened his mouth to curse me again, but when his gaze met my tear-reddened eyes, he faltered for once, confusion flashing across his face. Yet the drug's effects surged through him in relentless waves, and he reached for me, trying to pull me into his arms. I shoved him away as if waking from a nightmare. No. I would not let the tragedy of my past life repeat itself.

And yet it was. Across from him, Gluttony stared down at the artifact now resting in his hands. The Book of Rebirth. Its cover shifted constantly between black and white, the colors moving like opposing tides colliding against one another. Faint symbols flickered across the surface, appearing and vanishing as if the book itself was still rewriting its own existence. The energy radiating from it was immense. It was balanced and at the same time unstable. Gluttony swallowed slowly. “I… don’t think this thing likes being touched,” he muttered. Tyrel, standing beside his lover Caius, glanced down at the book nervously. “Then maybe you should stop touching it.”

He asks, “While you think of something to choose, I’m gonna get something. Stay here.” Goldie watches Darryl walk away from him. He stands still for a moment, before looking at the books that surrounded him. He notices a book that is not much bigger than his hand. The cover is simple, with nothing but the illustration of red circles within a circle at the bottom half, and the name “Dante” written on the top half. He picks it up and inspects it, trying to read other words on the back of the book. He was able to process some of the words, but could not understand the whole paragraph.

It was not easy to find the right one among so many books and roles, but after three hours of tireless search, he stumbled upon something. While Godric was looking through scrolls and books, he noticed a small book in one of the back rows. One might think that it was hidden extra deep, since it could not be found at first and even second glance. Godric reached for the hidden treasure and pulled the book out from among all the others. It was a small, almost crumbled book. The book cover testified to a long time and when Godric opened it, a cloud of dust came towards him. A cough left his throat and he wondered how long this book had been down here. The pages looked old and cracked, the writin

Glory was scared but she was even more confused the more Clara talked to her. " What?!, don't you think you are going too far with this?, you are the one trying to justify yourself for sleeping with someone's husband in a righteous way because of the baby in your stomach ." Nora was even more agitated by her choice of words, who was being unreasonable?She picked up her cup of tea and splashed it in Glory's face . " Awesome , that nice " Xavier ( who has been eavesdropping opened the beep curtain and walked in .

I can't leave the prince alone out there," said Glory, then turned back into a bird in a very fast time. "Glory, wait." Dante tries to prevent Glory but it's too late. Glory has turned into a bird. "Glory, in any form you can never get out of here," said Dante. Glory is seen flying out of the hut. A few moments later, suddenly he was back and standing next to Dante. "I told you but you are very stubborn," said Dante. "I'm just trying," replied Glory.

I pull back with a gasp, but no one else seems to notice the golden glow that is beginning to permeate through the book. I look up at the men. “Do you see that?” I whisper as the words begin to shift, and the writing begins to change. They all shake their heads and gaze down at the book intently. Creighton looks back at me in question. “What do you see?” I shake my head as I try to form words. I’m sure I look like a gaping fish. “I…I…the book is glowing, and the words are changing into…” I have to stop because my body begins to get cold, and my vision begins to dim. The glow intensifies and spills out of the book, moving like dribbling water in my direction. I try to back away, but it’s like

(ONE CROSS) “PRIDE, WRATH, GLUTTONY, LUST, ENVY, GREED, AND SLOTH.” Knowing more than what other mortals and gifted might think of her at first glance, she whispers the sins as the words vanish in front of her. Turns everything into ashes and goes directly inside the book that somehow loses all its pristine details and colors, and that is left with an utter old and torn cover that somehow is being forgotten by time and forsaken by anyone. It flies right back into her arms, where she hums for seconds and whispers.

The pups clung to him eyes wide with fear. Gloria rose one last time her body trembling. "You will not win." She unleashed a final desperate spell. Dark tendrils shot toward me wrapping around my arms and draining my strength. Pain burned through my veins but I pushed harder. My hybrid blood responded. I broke free and countered with a massive blast. It struck Gloria square in the chest. She gasped and fell to her knees. Her eyes met mine filled with fading hatred. "You are a fool for choosing them," she whispered. "The wolves will always betray you."
