The ground trembled, and a wave of energy surged through the chamber, knocking Evie and Liam off their feet. As they scrambled to stand, they witnessed an ethereal figure materialize within the glowing petals of the lotus. Tall and slender, with flowing robes of pure light, the figure emanated an aura of power and wisdom. Its luminous eyes, however, held a disconcerting intensity, gazing at them with an unreadable expression. "Welcome, travelers," the figure boomed, its voice echoing through the cavern. "You have come seeking answers. But are you ready to face the truth?"

But why make me chase anyway? Suddenly, a faint glow caught my eye, flickering amidst the darkness. It seemed to be coming from a clearing up ahead. As I drew closer, the silhouette of a figure emerged, bathed in an ethereal light. It was a person, their features obscured by a long cloak. My breath caught on my throat at the familiarity of the energy. I missed it so much, but how sure could I be that it's this person? The height the stature and everything actually gave that all away. Could it really be him?

She simply keeps moving. I pause, turning my body towards her. "Hello? Miss, do you need help? Who do you belong to? You look lost." She stops moving. Turning slowly, she seems to glide as her body rotates to face me. Blinking, she begins to glow, first her eyes, and then her skin, a soft golden starlight, like the sun shining through clouds. As I watch the light glows brighter, humming with energy. I close my eyes as power washes over me, visible even through my eyelids.

So I called them to me. Oh. Warmth. Lucious, comforting warmth! But it was not enough. The mouths of the blurry figures were agape now, something like horror contorting their features, but again I did not care. I just wanted to be warm! So closer I dragged the blue glow. They started dimming, like a bulb losing power and soon, the blue glows fizzled out. In their stead were these gold thread that surrounded the core of the figures. Not as warm as the blue glows, but it would do.

Their shapes glimmered as if trapped between realms, their eyes shining a frosty, icy blue. One of them advanced, looming above us with an essence of complete threat. Its sound resembled the crunch of ice. "Why have you interrupted our rest?" I gulped nervously, my heart pounding in my chest. “We had no intention to.” Truthful. The figure angled its head, examining me. “The glow inside you… it stinks of her.” "Whom are you referring to?" I inquired, attempting to maintain a steady tone. The figure remained silent. Rather, it lifted an arm, and the symbols on the columns ignited with energy. A murmur of voices engulfed the atmosphere, and the temperature decreased significantly.

“Brilliant.” After washing myself fully including my hair I feel ready to face the world. Or at least the detective. I dry my hair and leave it down and it falls in soft waves over my shoulders, donning my favourite comfort pyjamas I head downstairs. It is very dark , I can't even see my hands , do I even exist here , or maybe it is my conscious being trapped in no where.
