Without another word we begin to run towards the Kingdom, unprepared for what we may find when we get there. Some of the rogue guards shift into their wolf forms as we break through the trees that surround the Labyrinth. Others decide to stay in their human forms as long as they possibly can. An old frail woman with milky eyes that seemed to see everything and nothing at once. "Candidates," King Theron's voice rang out across the courtyard. "You have proven your strength in combat. Now you will prove something far more difficult… the strength of your character, the leadership trial.." He gestured to the labyrinth behind him. "The Labyrinth of Mirrors is an ancient construction, built by the first Lycan seers. It is not merely a physical maze, but a magical one. As you navigate its halls, it will show you truths about yourself. Memories. Fears. The parts of yourself you hide even from your own consciousness."

Samson stretched his hand towards the king and the king's blood floated towards him into the pentagram. That very moment, the ground beneath them began to tremble, the wind began to howl violently, and bats dropped dead from the walls of the cave. The light kept shining brighter till it exploded in bang! The explosion sent the king and his guards flying in different directions. By the time they got back up, they went back to check on the scholar and there he was, lying down naked with a snake wrapped around his waist. When he stood up the snake stayed wrapped around him. His eyes were no longer human- they were just blood red, with no pupils.

I nodded my head and looked at Noah. "Come on, stud, we are accompanying Morgana to the Goblin's castle," I said assuredly. Morgana suggested that Nosh remains in his demon form and we would both need to dress appropriately. "We would be entering the royal Goblins' court and need to dress accordingly to not raise suspicions. I shrugged and she waved her hand over Noah dressing his gray, horned demon in an intricately designed leather belt with a soft leather loincloth. I cocked my brow at him inspecting the chains crisscrossing his muscular chest. His short black-rooted white hair now hung down his back.

I mumbled and we continued forward. "King Izak, it is Elderon, come show yourself," Nyx yelled into the thick trees, causing a flock of crows to fly away. We waited a moment. A bush shook a bit and a short, ugly creature with one red eye walked toward us naked. He had a small gold crown on his head. "Who the fuck are you elf, crossing on the goblins' land," the goblin king growls. "I knew this would be a problem, hence the costume," he mumbles softly to me.

The next thing I knew, he scooped me up in his arms, carrying me bridal style as he walked towards the room. He laid me down on the bed, his chest partially resting on mine. The intense look he gave me made my legs weak and tremble uncontrollably. But then, he suddenly got up and went to the closet, pulling out a closed gown that I recognized as mine. How did he have my gown? My heart raced as Jackson approached me, handing me the clothing. "Can you wear this?" Jackson asked, and I took the gown from him, feeling a bit uneasy as I stared at it.

How could they continue serving an asshole like him? The Lycan King halted, and checked the surroundings. We were already outside the marketplace. On the exit of each side, there were two gargoyles which stood as guards of this place. “Finally,” he said. After checking that there was nothing suspicious, he pulled down his cloak. He was back to his original face. The Cloak of Borrowed Faces was one of the strangest things I ever laid my eyes into. Would I be able to change my face if I wore it?

“When my guest is someone as esteemed as you, as king, I believe only I am fitting to accompany you. Aside from Lady Cobalt of course.” Shima Melcros, the king of the Cobalt United Kingdom. He was a blue scaled fishman with a slender stature yet defined muscles. He only wore a kilt made from beautiful translucent jellyfish-like material and had a golden ribbon resting on his shoulders. On his neck were five pairs of gills. His hands and feet were webbed like a duck’s and fins on the forearms and on his hind legs. Shima had yellow fish-like eyes and his ears were fins. His hair was blue and reached his shoulders. “What brings you to my palace?” Shima asked.

Nya asks, she's getting impatient. The intercom chimes again with another announcement; “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS YOUR CAPTAIN SPEAKING. THE PROVIDENCE PEACEKEEPERS HAVE IDENTIFIED THE FUGITIVE AND HIS ACCOMPLICE. THEY APPEAR TO BE OMEN; A MALE LYCAN DRESSED IN RED SWIM TRUNKS AND A FEMALE VAMPIRE DRESSED IN A GREEN BIKINI BOTTOM WITH A ROBE ON. PLEASE YOU ARE ADVISED TO KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM THEM, THEY ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. REPORT ANY SIGHTINGS TO THE STAFF OR TO THE PEACEKEEPERS. THANK YOU.”
