God Of Love Greek Mythology Novels & Stories

except for one, I notice. I hitch in a breath as my gaze meets the eyes of the brooding War God. His eyes are colder than an Arctic wind, and though he holds the Goddess of Love in his arms, he barely seems to notice her. His eyes flit from me to Apollo, his expression unreadable, other than the obvious tightening of his jaw. I force myself to pull my gaze away, focusing with difficulty on Apollo, who's smile has turned amused. "Interesting dynamic there, you two." He says in a voice that holds the smallest, almost undetectable amount of bitterness. "In all the myths, it is Aphrodite and Ares who are in love, unable to stay away from each other...and yet...that has never been the case." "Wha

Forgetting the others' paintings. "I want to give you a short trivia first. Eros is the Greek God of love and sexual desire. We, Greeks fears this kind of love because God Eros shoots his arrows into our hearts without any warnings. Eros is a type of love based on sexual attraction, lust, or the love of the body. It was divine." "Woah... " I don't know why but I suddenly feel embarrassed. I remembered the things we did before. It makes me embarrassed to the core!

"She loves turning them into animals, sometimes kills them or irritate their children." "Continuing, Poseidon the God of sea and earthquakes is married and so is Hephaestus the god of fire and metal work. He is married to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, who in turn is in love with Ares the God of war which makes him unavailable too. Then there is the unmarried Hermes, Apollo, and Dionysus. Lord Apollo and Hermes have countless lovers, but the former only has his heart set on one and Hermes isn't the marrying type. Dionysus due to his controversial birth of having a mortal mother mustn't have appeased her."

He is wearing white flowy robes similar to what the moon goddess wears. “My child, this is Zeus, my mate.” “It’s nice to meet you.” Sonya says. “The pleasure is all mine. All us gods are extremely happy with you and everything you have done for us. We want to give you something in return.” Sonya looks at the moon goddess and then back to Zeus. “What could you possibly give me?” “Peace of mind. We are going to put an end to Hades’s army and let you leave in peace with the man you love.”

“I’m sure y’all have heard the stories about Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and her son Cupid. They could spread love, but, also, lust or obsession.” Robert leaned his elbows on the bar and rubbed his forehead. “The lust and obsession part became a problem because of Aphrodite’s jealousy, spite fullness, whatever you want to call it,” Rolling his eyes skyward and waving a hand, he continued, “and her son’s willingness to please his mother. It created a problem with the other Gods. Then all hell broke loose when Hera found out Zeus was letting them off the hook because Cupid was using lust on humans Zeus found attractive a few times. I mean the stupidity of some people.”

It’s quiet again and I hear the desperate woman’s voice that I know is Selene as she says, “Eos, leave them alone!” Eos laughs and says, “Fine, you want to know why you’ve been separated? You can blame my sister here. It is all her fault that she needed to be punished.” I hear her as she takes steps around the room and I try to place the name, ‘Eos’. We researched so many gods and goddesses before coming here and then I remember Eos, goddess of the dawn, the moon goddess Selene’s sister. Eos speaks, “I fell in love with a man. A regular man, not a god like all the other people I come across. I went to Zeus, who was Selene’s lover at the time, and I begged him to make my love immortal.”

“I have to annoy him so we don’t have to force him into wielding the bolt. He did i on his own accord and the bolt chose him!” “That was your parenting skill?!” Freya could not believe how Zeus handled this. It worked but it was annoying and Zeus was so proud of himself. “I am sorry for all the times that we wasted without each other, Freya. You know I still loved you. I never stopped.” Freya did not stop loving the God too. The truth was, she had never loved anyone after Zeus. Elves, like the creatures of the dark can only love once and her love of her life was unfortunately the God of thunder, the father of her son. How can she resist the man?

I state with interest. "You may have heard of me. My name is Aphrodite. Goddess of love, beauty, and desire, and this is my son, Eros. God of sex, lust, and passionate desire. The one who can bring irresistible feelings and impulses with the use of his arrow. He is often referred to as Cupid, but as you can see, he is not like what humans have made him out to be. Lastly, this is my dear friend, Peitho. Goddess of persuasion and seduction." she explains, introducing both herself and the other two sexy individuals. "This is definitely a dream." I mumble to myself.

James said. He grinned at Gary's grim expression and then continued, "Riley's father ... that William Mackenzie is the most powerful god of war ever. So, how could someone like Evan De Kruk whose name I don't even remember be able to defeat Riley?"
