My mouth was drained of words and I felt completely numb. "Please hold on Cilia, let me go get the doctor!" The lady spoke again, trying to calm me down. My eyes roamed to the other side. It was Joey walking right in front of me. And, that left me in the middle. Staring at him and trying to speak in my head, his hand ran across my brow gently, and turned my head to look at him. His whole appearance was that of a happy person, and this made me deeply sad and confused. Suddenly, he walked through the walls. It was like a light from above was shining down onto me, and the dust that lay around us vanished. I became so dizzy.

Jo filled another mug. “I guess I should explain, Luna. My bear was sleeping, and I was mostly human working a human job and married to a human. I was going through a divorce.” Jo looked to where Jericho was talking to the others. “Anyways, long story short, Jericho and I met. My bear woke up and our bears claimed each other and I went into heat. I got pregnant that first time.” She laughed. “Why do I get the feeling there is more?” Willow asked.

She wants to pull away from his grip, she wants to stay away from him as much as possible but her body was saying otherwise. "Nothing," she murmured and try to take her hands off him. He went back to lifting the heavy axe and throwing it towards the large woods. She gulp the lump in her throat and went back to cooking. The night falls so quickly that she didn't realize it was time for dinner, Joaquin came in with his whole body exposed. He was all wet with a scent of flower covering him.

Arc regained his balance, his concern for Jojo's well-being propelling him forward. The sound of pounding footsteps echoed through the air as the book club members sprinted towards the commotion. Arc's eyes widened in surprise as they converged, their faces etched with concern and outrage. Will, the first to arrive, rushed towards Bill, but Jojo was quicker. Her eyes blazed with a fierce determination, and with a battle cry, she unleashed a swift knee strike.
