I stood in my fighting stance, ready for whatever he was going to use against me. Finally, he lurched forward with his claws pointed at me like daggers. I scanned his movements as he ran. He was slow, and his overgrown muscles took away most of his agility. His heavy footsteps dug deeply into the sand, making me feel featherlike compared to him.
