The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

While Zephyr was busy meditating, Ricky had assembled a team. Based on Ricky’s abilities alone, they easily swept through every room to their hearts' content. “Skygold Divine Pills? Aiden Lee, you lucky b*stard!” Ricky teased as he saw the pills in his hand. Feeling Ricky’s gaze, anger rose within Aiden. Skygold Divine Pills were not common. It was a three-starred medicine, a powerful one at that. For him to have found this treasure would mean his luck was good. He did not expect Ricky to want to take it from him.

Claimed By Alpha Draven

And then I noticed something on the spot where I had fallen asleep. There, lying idly on the floor, was a golden amulet. It was old, with intricate designs etched into its surface. Curiosity sparked within me as I picked it up, feeling its weight in my hand. It didn't belong to me; that much was clear. I inspected it closely and saw a bold, prominent letter "J" inscribed behind it.

Beneath the Gilded Rule

Beneath the Gilded Rule

The unguarded supply corridors. The exposed third capital. Understanding flickered in his eyes. Cassian laughed suddenly. “Oh,” he said. “Oh that’s cruel.” Nyx tapped the console. Their alliance surged across the board in a new direction. Straight toward the undefended capital. The room exploded in noise. Halvern’s eyes gleamed faintly. The third capital fell twenty seconds later. Victory. The timer froze. Silence crashed over the chamber. Nyx stretched her arms casually. “Well,” she said. “That was fun.” Cassian leaned back in his chair, shaking his head. “You weaponized patience.” Talbot nodded slowly.

Lucid Curse

Lucid Curse

For all she knew, she could see them sparkling—literally glimmering as if someone had sprinkled fairy dust over the petals for effect. And the fruits. Oh god, the fruits. A silver bowl overflowing with opulence sat among the blooms. Plump strawberries, golden kiwis sliced with surgical precision, red grapes that shimmered like polished rubies. An apple so glossy she could probably see her reflection. Every piece of fruit looked unreal, like it had been photoshopped into existence. Selena blinked. Then blinked again, because surely this was a hallucination. She slowly turned back to Theo—who now seemed even more exhausted, if that was possible—and then looked back at the divine altar of produ

Gilded Hearts

Gilded Hearts

The loudness outside was already pulsing as we stepped into the Roman night. After 30 minutes we were inside the club, and the club didn’t just glow, it commanded. Gold-accented walls-, low amber llighting-, andvelvet ropes separating worlds within worlds,. This wasn’t the kind of place you wandered into by accident,. It was curated,. Exclusive,. The kind of club where money didn’t shout—it hummed quietly in tailored suits and diamond watches,. Andrea leaned in close as the bass vibrated through my ribs,. “Welcome to one of Rome’s worst-kept secrets,.”

The Supreme Son-in-Law

The Supreme Son-in-Law

Elio said as he drew out four more shimmering gold instruments, placing them alongside the Buddha's Heart and passing them to Old Madam Jones. Old Madam Jones took them gingerly, letting May slip on her fancy glasses with the floral frames, and peered closely at the ancient seal script etched into the gold. She ran her fingers over the characters, whispering, "Tribulation, Salvation, Virtue, Healing, Justice... These are the legendary Five Golden Instruments, timeless treasures beyond measure!"

Her thin, pale fingers reached behind her neck and unclasped a silver chain, revealing a polished emerald pendant. It was a rich green, smooth and warm against my skin, carrying a quiet, reassuring glow. With trembling hands, she fastened the chain around my neck. "This pendant was given to me by your grandmother, a blessing for a lifetime of peace. "I'm giving it to you now. I don’t wish for you to be rich or powerful—only to live a safe and peaceful life." There was sorrow in her gaze—the kind only a mother would have in her final moments, knowing she was about to leave her child behind.

Whispers of the Pearl Curse

Whispers of the Pearl Curse

"Is this why my skin is hanging off me like old laundry? Did that lousy bracelet suck away my youth?" Tracy, catching sight of her son's ghastly, pale skin, stumbled backward in shock: "Juliet... Juliet didn't die from some health curse, did she?" Something clicked for Jeffrey, and he chucked the lottery ticket he once treasured to the floor. In a fit of rage, he ground it under his shoe. "Some family heirloom bracelet, some hundred fifty million dollar jackpot... I bet that bracelet's nothing but bad luck. Go find someone to get rid of this curse!"

The Blood Curse

The Blood Curse

It made Layla wonder what Ravana was truly capable of. And finding out that Atreus was the only one that could stop Ravana unleashed a lot of worry in Layla's mind. The last thing she wanted was to have to depend on Atreus in any shape or form. After another minute of waiting, Niniane returned to the backroom with a black leather satchel. She handed it to Layla. "Dig in, I won't be able to touch them," she said before finding her seat again. Layla did as she was told and started to pull the items out of the bag. A silver dagger with a deep ruby red gem inlaid into the handle, a wooden stake that was carved with runes, and a large piece of yellow sulfur.

A Dark Curse

A Dark Curse

I mutter through clenched teeth. Elora’s head tilts slightly, violet eyes narrowing. Her demeanor shifts, a subtle change that I barely detect in time. “To break the curse, you must do more than complete tasks and collect…objects.” “What do you want?” I snap, repeating myself. “Dearest Ezra,” Elora’s fingers skim along my jawline, nails scratching at the scruff. “It’s simple, really. You must get the princess to fall in love with you—truly and deeply in love.”
