“So far, he’s proving himself to be useful.” “He’s a good guy, Knight. And you need all the help you can get,” Zarah said. “This is the key hidden in the sword.” I showed it to them. “Dylan said only a witch could find this dagger.” “Let me see.” I gave it to Zarah, and she chanted something in Latin before throwing it up. It suspended in the air and started spinning fast. Kailin and Nirvana gasped as what looked like a map appeared in the air before our very eyes.

"What is it? Why isn't he healing?" Maranda took a deep breath. "The dagger that was used to stab Harley is not just any ordinary weapon. While casting healing spells, I discovered that it's an ancient dagger, crafted from a combination of wolfsbane, silver, and powerful spells. Such weapons were used in ancient times specifically to kill powerful werewolves." Marinetta's eyes widened with horror. "What does that mean for Harley?"

Damon gestured to the many gifts before he proceeded in stating them. “50,000 golden coins, 120,000 silver coins, 10,000 precious stones of sapphire, ruby and diamonds….1000 jar cups made of bronze, 500 jar cups made of silver and 100 jar cups made of gold. A staff carved from the bone of a dragon and a leather coat made from the fur of the lion of Skirrt…" As Damon kept listing all the items he brought Harold waited almost impatiently for him to mention the royal garment made of Silver and Gold that his men had poisoned and wear it on the king but to his great disappointment Damon never made mention of any such garment till he was done speaking…

It’s so much larger on the outside than it is on the inside. “Cool, huh?” She says gesturing to the inside of her house. “My brother is amazing at illusion magic. If you’re not given the address to this place, you wouldn’t see it at all. Isn’t he clever? I’m more of a primal magic gal myself.” “Right well…” Tori clears her throat. “I’m Victoria and this is Avril.” “Oh!” She exclaimed. “I’m Autumn Magnus. Welcome to my tower! Your bedrooms are on the third floor. If you’ve reached the hydra, you’ve gone too far. But he’s friendly so you can pet him.”

A thin cotton dress was layered beneath a thick cloak tied with an emerald ribbon, and golden jewelry adorned her hair and neck. The weight of the opulent adornments made her feel out of place—like a maid masquerading as a queen. After Rhyzar’s revelation, she couldn’t shake the thought that all the gilded surfaces around her might actually be real gold. The statues in the hallways, though suspiciously similar, seemed too fantastical to believe. Still, she eyed them warily as Gelda led her to the large room where she had first reunited with Rhyzar.

Her smile, laced with blood, looked haunting. A Haunt swept in, scattering the cash and gold bars from the car. Sparks flew, and the flames roared to life with a loud whoosh. I pulled a gold bar from my pocket. "Hear me, infant spirits, it's time for our final showdown!" The winds howled as I watched my mom wail in despair. Her tears were for her wealth, not a shred of worry for me. I spun around and plunged into the swirling darkness without a second thought.

“Don’t you dare. I’m done with you and Ruby keeping secrets from me like I mean nothing.” ♠️ RUBY Ruby stared at her phone again, trying to figure out why none of the drivers were coming to pick her up. Her battery had died, and she had no choice but to go back inside to ask Liam or Hans for help. But she didn’t want to be part of her father’s drama. A black luxury car pulled up, and a black-suited guard stepped out to open the door. She recognized him immediately—one of Caspian’s footmen. “I’m not interested,” she said.

he whispers, nodding to the double doors at the end of the other room, where a green exit sign hangs above it. “Songbird Alert” is the code we came up with—or rather, I reluctantly agreed to—when any of us sensed the target. Adrian found it hilarious when Caleb explained why he calls me Songbird. Jackasses. Anyway, the Demon must be close by. A tendril of unease mixed with excitement trickles into me. I slowly reach into my dress pockets and wrap my fingers around the silver square. To the untrained eye, it’s exactly that, but the moment I press the button on the front, it transforms into a huge dagger infused with magic.

The same pair of blue-green eyes looked upon Madchen as she watched them approach her. On the queen’s head was a dainty silver tiara, with a singlet Amethyst stone shining in the middle. Her purple and green wings spread out behind her back, fluttering in happiness. “Welcome home, dear daughter, we have missed you so,” Madchen struggled to open her eyes. The lights nearly blinded her as she sat up and looked around. Her dream had felt so real, so warm and comforting, and she wished she could stay there for all eternity, in peace and happiness.

She tucked the letter safely in the night stand drawer. Her dreams where filled with them together flying in the air or swimming in the lake. They where happy just the way they where. Though something told her it wasn’t going to be like this forever. This was only going to last for a short time. The dream switched quickly from a beautiful blue lake surrounded by mountains and forest. There clothing off to the side a short distance away on the golden sandy beach. Soon the beach was filled with rivers of blood. Her silver knight laying with his head turned away from her. Her body laying on the lakes bottom but there was no water. It was like it was dried up. Two or three people surrounded her
